I assume this will air on Wednesdays in September & October, as the only other soon-to-be-open slot is Friday (which has been a BL exclusive zone - with the exception of one GL - for years).

I’m so surprised they’re not airing this twice a week. I know “Love Lock” still needs to be filmed, but there should be time for that even with an accelerated release schedule.

Plus, it’s not like GMMTV has a bunch of completed series waiting for slots, so now we’re likely to get yet another rerun on either Tuesday or Wednesday (with Dark Dice airing on the other day).

I was always under the impression that AouBoom would be secondary in We Are, are we SURE they were officially billed as mains at some point?

I’d also like to point out WinnySatang from the same series, were listed below PondPhuwin but were still very much a main couple in We Are, on roughly equal footing with PP.

I am a big believer in basing claims on facts, but it is not possible to get facts correct, as you say, before those facts are known. Singto said they would finish around mid-April a few days ago, right? If so, this is new information that I did not (and could not) know a week ago.

However, I did make a mistake! I could’ve asked you more questions instead of just assuming I was right because your reasons did not make sense to me. Maybe your reasons didn’t make sense because they got lost in translation, I don’t know. But I do know that next time I’ll try to be a better listener.

The Ex-Morning has been filming twice a week and today is Q16. Even if there are only 24 Qs for this 12-episode series - which would be unusual and is not confirmed as far as I know - that would mean they are two-thirds through filming, which is still not the same as almost done.

Isn’t the Ex-Morning only halfway through filming? That’s not the same as almost done…

I wonder how the director is managing going back and forth between this and his other projects (Reset is still filming, and Somewhere Somehow is apparently starting workshop tomorrow), His schedule seems totally impossible right now, but I’m grateful he’s making it work!

I think Queen of Queens and/or 9 Temples? would make the most sense, but a case could be made for Love Lock (even though Dew is still filming Leap Day, the filming days have been spread out and it’s at least possible he could overlap projects a bit) too.

I suppose there could also be a gap between the filming of Fortune Says Hi and the rest, but let’s not think like that!

I wonder if they will do any filming in Mae Hong Song province (where the series seems to mostly take place). It’s a somewhat remote region, but given the prevalence of promoting tourist destinations in Thai BL, I figure there’s at least a chance they might go out there for a few days? My friend is from there, and I’ve heard much about the distinct peoples and striking beauty of the area. Fingers crossed!

All I know is fitting has already happened for MMP and workshops are supposedly ongoing , and most gmmtv productions start filming within weeks (not months) of fitting & workshops. Because of this, I will be surprised if filming does not begin by March.

I definitely would not have thought of this if you hadn’t posed the question!

And though I still don’t think it’s very likely, I will be pleasantly surprised if I’m right. And either way, I enjoy the ideas that come from speculation like this.

Just for fun, I’ll offer one more possibility I just thought of. I do not think it’s correct but to me it’s kind of a neat idea.

The concepts of “day” and “midnight” could be central elements to the series’ plot and the name could have been changed to reflect this. Perhaps most of the series takes place during the single DAY of the 29th, and the goal is for them to get to MIDNIGHT (and therefore the next day) because then they’ll be free of the curse. (Or to put it another way, the entire day represents the curse, and midnight represents both the beginning and end of the curse).

Like I said, I really don’t think this is the reason for the change. BUT I think it’s kind of a fun idea because I enjoy when little things like names can resonate on a deeper storytelling or thematic level.
