EXACTLY THIS. I just couldn't understand what purpose the murder side plot had and the grandma literally died for no reason. To suddenly drag that father and son in at the last moment and then not even come up with a valid reason for going after Yeo Reum after that incident from already 10+ years ago for which they weren't even suspected was a huge plot hole.
