Loving the story, ep 3&4 are great! But something about FL's wardrobe and styling is bugging me a bit. It's not bad but not great, definitely not on the same level as ML. FL's outfits lack that extra sophistication and taste that she's supposed to have. And it's not intentional difference for the plot. I wonder if they had different stylists and budgets. The thing is IU isn't new to the industry; she's had iconic styling in many of her previous roles; some of the outfits in this drama look cheap for someone of her level. So far, I only like the first red outfit FL wore to the palace and maybe a few others in ep 1&2.
And it's not like she's mean. She is still pretty principled, just willing to play dirty if that's what it takes.…
Yeah. I don't understand the complaints about her. She's hardworking and an honest hustler. Even her stalking wasn't too overboard imo. Li An never said 'leave me alone', he was actually looking forward to her popping up
well if he did win it would be still lame. Lady shen deserved that win and he proved himself to his fam that is…
I meant lame as in the whole presentation of the competition is lame. They could have made the competition much more exciting and showcased the cooking of all contestants, but they didn't. I had no problem with lady jiawen winning, and didn't care for Shen's diner at all. Your assumption of me wanting Shen father to win totally missed my point.
The Culinary Competition is just lame, and I wasn't rooting for Shen's diner, quite the opposite. I wish they went lighter on family drama (seriously, there's a separate genre for that. I ain't here for multigenerational trauma), and invested more on food scenes. After ~ ep 10, food scenes just dwindled down. Truth is people love watching food (with so many past and recent successful evidences such as BAYM etc).
The novel has HE; it's very chill story with a long courtship. The drama made many changes (understandably) to…
If you're hoping to know about the ancestor situation, I have to disappoint you, the novel doesn't have the ancestor plot. In the novel, it's just the FL transmigrating, and it's her father who's the wrongly executed official (the drama changed it to ML's father). In the end, her father's name got cleared and they got married and have kids. Pretty typical HE
Will this have a happy ending? Who read the book? Can someone tell me? I’ve been seeing mixed spoilers so I…

FL always have the same full , over decked hair accessories and makeup look..like in blossom. I felt like shes…
I feel the same! MZY comes across as someone overly concerned about looking pretty. I get so distracted by her makeup. I don't know how I finished Blossom, but had to drop this one.
At ep 25. Don't come at me if I say FSG has a bit of mommy kink ;) He's meant to fall for a strong woman given his relationship with his late mother. I love Li Qin as FYX
Just started to watch this, I'm at ep 2. The plot is fresh, but the jokes aren't landing! A lot of logic holes and I think that's why the comedic moments fall flat. I think it's screenwriters fault, not the actors. But I do like Suzy's psychopath version way more than Park Min Young's in Confidence Queen.
