A story doesn't need a BL label or GL or any other label slapped on it to include LGBTQ+ characters or relationships...Also yeah sure jun could fall for sobin but my issue is the story telling...a good story imo does more show than tell in the case of jun and sobin they are telling us that jun likes sobin but where were the hints, the proof that really showcased this bc in my opinion there was barely any and they made it somewhat challenging to tell if jun was just using her bc of his need for affection and attention, etc hence it feels forced imo
so far i like the main three characters as individuals but the romance is SO DRY so bland...im sorry but when, where, why, and how did yeojoon suddenly start liking sobin seems like theyre rly pushing the straight agenda which is disappointing...tbh sobin and yeojoon could be great as friends anyways i rly hope they dont do that w soohyun and one of the 2 girls that like him bc ik he's supposed to end up with jun's bro. hm first 2 eps have a lot more focus on the het romance than i wanted bc i kind of thought this would focus more on the friendship/life aspect which is honestly far more interesting imo. The progress between yeojoon and sobin seems rly rushed/forced and i don't feel any chemistry...especially bc yeojoon keeps staring at soohyun when he thinks no one's looking lol anyways its only the first two eps tho so im holding out for hopefully more of soohyun (and his relationship with yeojoon and others) bc so far hes the most interesting to me

This was such a cute series overall!! Yes it wasn't perfect, yes it had flaws, but I think this is a big step for korea in terms of how fluffy and happy it was since that pretty much never happens for gay characters to have such a happy ending. THE FACT THAT THEY WENT ON A DATE AT THE END AND IT DIDN'T JUST END WITH A KISS/CONFESSION SCENE LIKE IN A LOT OF SHOWS IS A BLESSING. Sanga is probably one of the cutest most precious drama characters ever and he deserves everything good in this world. I hope this is a great beginning to what's to come in terms of positive lgbt+ representation in Korean media :'')
OH MY GOD THANK U for the cute fluff, lovable not toxic characters, great chemistry, a lighthearted, yet not completely shallow plot and A COOL LIKABLE BEAUTIFUL FEMALE CHARACTER that doesn't serve as a love interest/ex gf/creepy stereotypical yaoi fetish girl. I love this so much so far I find myself smiling through almost every ep ahhhhhhh in some ways it rly does feel like how korea does straight romcom dramas but just with a gay couple and I think thats beautiful.
Not trying to sound super negative or anything but hm....the only thing i like so far in this series is kao? Everything else is kind of...eh and i rly dislike the toxic, very unfunny and highkey uncomfortable "yaoi fangirl" stereotype why are BL series allergic to putting GOOD DECENT female characters like its not that difficult?? I hope things will somehow improve since its only been 2 eps so far. Also maybe its because I'm not familiar with the source material, but so far the two mains seem to lack personality imo (idk if its their acting, the editing, or the writing tbh) Especially Gui..so their interactions seem somewhat bland to me, but like I said its only 2 eps into the show, so hopefully things improve ...ANYWAYS KAO IS A WHOLE CUTIE and i rly like the ost too
