Does Du Lei’s sister like him or something?! Because she was saying he was afraid of the dark when he was younger and she would comfort him. And they both referred to their father as dad. And she was all drunk in episode 7 and was telling him his tie was ugly because it wasn’t from her and made him put on a new one. Then she got all close and said she didn’t like more secrets to come between them, almost close enough to kiss him and he pushed her hands off him.

I personally don’t think Seojun was possessive haha. I mean, Suho clearly likes jugyeong still when he came back. And there’s the time when jugyeong was brought home super drunk by Suho when she was supposed to be at work. People act like Seojun was over-possessive about that when anyone would be concerned about that lol. Like, if you were dating someone and they were supposed to be at work, and then their ex all of the sudden shows up with your significant other drunk and barely able to walk straight, you’d be pissed. Plus, if this was reversed and it was Seojun being taken home by an ex, everyone would scream Seojun was being unfaithful to jugyeong and use it as an excuse to hate on him. I really don’t see where Seojun is being “possessive.” To me it literally just seems like he’s having normal human emotions lol. He literally knows Suho still likes her so of course he’s cautious. Anyone would be cautious if their significant other’s ex showed up and still liked them.
This drama is honestly maybe my favorite from this year. It’s so cute and I wanted to re-watch as soon as I finished it, which is rare. I’m tempted to watch again haha !

Hmm, while I do agree with your point that the beauty standards in Korea are strict and people shouldn’t value looks over personality, I don’t think it’s a good idea to judge an entire country based off of a tv show. Saying, “Korean society is a very superficial society,” and “it’s not a sane society,” really is overstepping in my opinion if you’re not korean. You’re judging a culture based on a show, and making an entire country seem shallow. I don’t really think that’s the most respectful thing to do. (If you’re korean just ignore everything I said because you have a right to say that LMAOO), but as a chinese, I’ve had people judge chinese culture based on dramas or our pop culture like danmei and it’s just, not really their place if that makes sense? I know you probably didn’t mean to or realize you were judging korean culture and didn’t have bad intent, I just wanted to point that out lol. I don’t want any koreans who could potentially come on this site to see that and feel upset/uncomfortable, because I know for a fact I’ve come on this website multiple times and seen people talking bad about my country or making judgements on it. This site should be a safe space for everyone, including Asians, especially when this is literally based on our tv shows & media.

MDL is like, deleting the accounts and not using the average rating of everything. They’re changing it to a different formula to rate things and messing with the ratings
I agree. I remember always seeing kdramas as the “top upcoming shows,” even when I could name at least 3-4 cdramas that have more people waiting to watch it than the kdramas

Of course no problem !! Although I do think Jugyeong (the main girl can be annoying sometimes - just my opinion). I feel like she kind of is very immature, like she’s a middle schooler most of the time. And it’s kind of annoying to me.
