i don't get why everyone is writing such comments and are not enjoying this drama whilst even though this is my first time watching any of shen yue's drama, i absolutely love it. the cast to me is perfect, i definitely see lovely chemistry between the main leads even though there is a age gap. i honestly really like the story line and how the script is plus i didn't even find the dubbing bothersome at all. i am really enjoying this drama so far, can't wait for the next episodes to release <3

Yes, in late july it was confirmed that they have prepared the second season of The life of the White Fox. They will start the shooting at the end of this year. The leads are for now kept the same ; Lu Zhao Hua and Fiction Guo. + great news is that the budget is going to be way higher. Excited!!<3

It has been confirmed (by Tencent) that this drama is going to be having a season 2. It has been set and prepared for the shooting to start end of this year/early next year. It has also been said that the second season is going to be much higher in budget. To add to that, It will be starring the same cast as the first season (Lu Zhao Hua and Fiction Guo).

actually there have not been english subtitles anywhere at the moment, however the official channel has said that "English subtitles are being produced, please be patient!", i believe that they are not up currently cause they have 2 other dramas being subbed at the same time already??

no, not at all actually. the story line is very different from season 1 so it is not at all necessary. even the characters and occupations they had are different. in s1 the ML was a singer but s2 he is a rich CEO.

regarding spoilers i don't really have any actually. the story is quick paced (not dragged or boring), extremely funny first episode(the acting is excellent) .and yes the female lead has a second female lead which is the main rival. the sfl is introduced first in episode 8 in which the female lead has already gained feelings for the male lead. i believe these spoilers are enough, and i promise you will definitely like this. ENJOYYY!!!
