I just finished it, and I’m actually giving a higher rating because of Han Shuo, this fictional man stole my heart. The drama was great too, but he made it so much better. Hope season 2 will be with the same leads🤞🏼

So far no other couples. Maybe Miss Du and Xiucheng, they kissed in episode 18, and it seems like concubine Sun started to like Shizhen’s brother.

I just watched episode 16 and I can’t with this sexual tension, the leads are absolutely nailing it, his intense longing for her and those deep stares omg. And pls I want to see more of jealous Jiashang!! I’m a sucker for slow burn romance, it’s literally the best😭 *cries in single*

This was my first korean drama that I watched, and it got me sucked into the world of kdrama. I remember that I couldn’t wait for the next episodes to air, every episode got me hooked. The intense suspense will make you want to watch more and more, and you can’t even guess who’s behind everything, I was so clueless until the end. I’m forever grateful for this gem, and recommend it to everyone who’s into thriller and mystery packed dramas!

I’m on episode 9 but I already know I’m going to rewatch this!! The main leads chemistry is out of this world although it hasn’t even happened too much between them, but you can feel their emotions through their eyes, I love the subtle gestures and the body language. The suspicion is just enough for me. I’m sensing some hardships will come in their way since this is 40 episodes, but BRING THE PAIN ON, as long as I can watch them I’ll endure it, their chemistry compensates. Although I hope it will be a happy ending bc my blood pressure can’t handle sad endings. This era is also my fave so I’m really enjoying this and can’t wait for the upcoming episodes. The cast is also great, they play their character pretty well and the music is fitting too. (If anyone knows the instrumental music in episode 2 when she ties his tie please tell me cause I’m addicted).
