omona i could not stop giggling in the final two episodes…
loving all the lavender hae suk mi suk drama and the epic vegetable fight and their reconciliation in the end and how they love their in laws. nice contrast from first episode when they were talking big about their own children! 🤣
oh the last scene on the restaurant.. so heartwarming. what a beautiful depiction of a family.
seung ho and seuk ryu with their endless bickering towards the end was possibly the most realistic and healthy portrayal of their friends-to-lovers dynamic ever. i love that they never really lost their friendship but instead developed it. they were tooooo cute i couldn’t stop smiling.
awh and seuk ryu’s restaurant?! and the collab between the two men who love her most?! can’t say i didnt see it coming but man it was so sweeeeeeeet! the way she was able to use her coding skills came full circle and finally she was able to look forward with no regrets and embrace her past illness too with her new venture. love the healthy food and her finding purpose and her new dream in that way. love love love.
lastly moeum and dan ho? ahhh no nonsense - mature relationship - love love her interaction with yeon du like i can only see them as a family and nothing else.
lavender getting their photoshoot and seung ho’s parents renewing their vows! cute!
i’m also glad in the end they didnt have the wedding just yet - i think thats realistic and mature of them and im glad they wrote it this way
overall i loved loved loved this drama and will miss them!!
“I love you… As my family, my friend and my woman. The kind of love might have been different at times.. but there was never a time where I didn’t love you.”
Only on episode 3… interesting to find out if my theory is right.. something fishy about Na Gyeom.. and the rest of the town in general.. his “friends”? who never visited once in past 10 years then pretend to be friends again?
was it a whole town cover up? just like how his mum’s case is a cover up?
Ahh that last scene.. was perfection. In that moment I really thought I was seeing Seok Ryu and Seung Hyo as real…
gosh I completely forgot to mention SR’s mum.. that last scene performance was great on her part too..
gosh.. she must have been in total shock. like, asking who has cancer amongst my two loved ones in front of me? one, my precious daughter and the other my precious person I feel like a son.
Both would be terrible eitherway.. then when she finally confirms its her daughter.. oh that hug 😭 so painful for a mother to experience that
Ahh that last scene.. was perfection. In that moment I really thought I was seeing Seok Ryu and Seung Hyo as real people and I felt their heartbreak. The myriad of emotions that just hit them..I went through it with them feeling the same way
SH - The initial disbelief, denial, then panic thinking is she still sick, then the obvious relief when knowing she’s no longer sick currently, then his absolute feeling of anger and betrayal that his sick friend would leave him out, his sadness that she’s endured this on her own.. the worry that she’ll continue to hide it from her loved ones..
SR - From the realisation that she got caught, to trying to downplay the situation, her panic? trying to run away to her own place & hide her feelings again, to her sadness that SH finally found out and his obvious heartbreak, to trying to repress her emotions & deal with it another time, to the shock of realising mum’s heard what’s happened, to her obvious brokenness when mum finally hugged her
😭😭 Truly the highlight of the episode. I’m a sucker for melodrama so I enjoyed it. I’m sure there are happier times to come.
I think they did this episode really well. Glad SR’s ex wasn’t some evil villain but a relatable man who we forget is also human. At the end of the day, SR gave him an out - when she told him she’ll constantly have to deal with the threat of her being sick again and the pain and depression that may come with it too. she’s telling him, this is me from now on, I’m never going back to the old me, the one you’re obviously holding on to. So she lets him go.
It’s so sad when she said she doesn’t need love again..
I’m glad to see the next preview.. SR slowly learning to lean on her loved ones.. just like SH said.
honestly? i was expecting something sort of fight for my way as childhood friends to lovers... i'm kinda let down…
For the first two episodes I did feel as though I was seeing two actors acting. But for the next couple of episodes some of them did feel like acting acting…

“I’m so full my stomach might explode.” - SR (And everyone being gobsmacked lol)
The kiss then headbutt 🤣
SR running away from home because she didn’t get a new phone 😅
“Just let me give you a damn hug!” - SH
The wholesome emotional maturity of SR and HJ as they part ways for the last time. ahhh so satisfying when adults act like adults 🤣
