According to the description, this show was based on a novel by Fei Wo Si Cun who is famous for unhappily-ever-afters.
This series started off great. I'm not sure about the chemistry but I liked both the lead actors. There were lots of forced kisses at the start because he was crazy about her. I liked that the show at least showed how he fell in love with her.
So I was hooked on the earlier part of the show but it went downhill the moment he was forced to divorce her and marry the other girl. After that, I just wanted to see how the story unfold without all the blah blah angst and talky talky moments.
Basically, the first half of the series is worth savouring over but the last half, just scan through using youtube. (When you move your cursor above the timeline, they will flash different screenshots and you'll be able to tell what's going on or just forward to the scene you want to watch.)
There was an intriguing part in the end in Jian Zhang's (her crazy ex-fiancee) last words to her. It seemed that in some pure part of his black heart, he may have still loved her?
