Loved the acting!! The adaptation was decent. Progressively, it portrayed the plot really well, but still, I'm mad about one thing. In the manga, it was Kai who died at the end, not Hotoshi, so why did they make it the other way around in the movie? Kai also took the blame for Mamiya's death, so Hotoshi lived as a school teacher and continued on with his life, just as Kai wanted him to do. Like, his death also explains the title, because later on, Hotoshi sings for Kai, as Shota asked him to do when he was ready. Hotoshi realized his love for Kai, so he sang in love. In the movie, they gave a different explanation and basically a different ending as well. I just don't understand why. But aside from that, the story is just as heartbreaking as beautiful.
