I have to admit, I'm loving CY's character in here! I've watched 2 historical dramas from him already and I was eagerly waiting for a modern one! In here, he's this fun, romantic, kind... guy that makes smile everytime he smiles and makes me cry everytime he cries! I didn't feel the same in his previous works. Also I've hated FL's previous works but in this drama her acting somehow works for me! I'm on ep 17 and so far everything is great. But according to what I've read here about so many injuries to ML, I think we have to accept that CY is made for these kind of roles! Vomiting blood especially!
I didn't expect this kind of healing romance from Japan!! All I've watched so far were either silly "kawaii" romances or "dark" ones! I really enjoyed this one. Can someone please recommend dramas or movies similar to this?
Overall I enjoyed the drama. Their chemistry was good. The ML is a good kisser I have to admit! The only thing that bothered me was the silly misunderstandings that could be easily solved by talking but instead they decided to add more drama by not telling each other!!
I've watched the first 2 episodes and there are things that bother me. He took her to beast clan against her will, trapped her there and wants her to fall in love with him?! Not just marry him but to fall in love? That's wierd! I mean if he was the bad guy, I could accept it but he keeps saying I've brought her here I should bear the consequences ...blah blah blah! Just saying that doesn't make him good
I have to admit I was more fascinated by their intimate scenes than the whole story! The idea of a stone-faced cold ML doesn't work for me anymore. Throughout the drama it felt like the girl was constantly hitting on a wall but of no avail. The same problem I had with "when I fly towards you". There were moments that I laughed but not much. Of course it was short which was a good point. I could binge watch it in one day with the help of fast forwarding!
I recommended this drama to my sister who rarely watches c-dramas and who doesn't like romance-based show at all. She binge watched in two days and really enjoyed it!!!
So I've got 2 questions: was yan chen in love with xu qin? Or was it some kind of obsession to be in cave together( as they mentioned) ? And what happened to the girl that liked him? No closure for them?
This drama is driving me crazy! I've already watched it two times in a row which has never happened before as far as I can remember. And as I come across a YouTube short related to them, It's me watching all my favorite scenes all over again! And like the very first time I'm grinning from ear to ear while watching!!! I don't rhink I can move on from this drama very soon. It's just my happiness pill. Duan Jiaxu's eyes are killing me!
Well I don't regret watching this but unfortunately I have to admit it was nothing special or memorable to me. I think Xiao Zhan couldn't save this drama. He is phenomenal in romance (The Oath of Love) but I didn't see any of that aspect in here. Not that I watched this drama for romance but the story in general wasn't engaging enough
