 if i watch something that can be logged on here its usually a japanese or hong kong movie from before 2000.  i'm currently trying to avoid logging shows until im at least third of the way through. 

 i love watching 1990s japanese dramas, i enjoy the retro and subdued sound design of train crossings and cicadas as the background noise in serious moments. i especially hate a certain strain of 80s/90s sound design included in movies like "the goonies" and the score for the movie "manhunter" (1986). i bring these things up because its a common thing i talk about in my lists.

i've never really gotten into kdramas, i've watched a small subset of the most popular ones, but i don't plan on watching anything else at this point. i find it easiest to watch "bl" shows because my expectations are so low, but if the overall production (editing, screenplay, acting) is just terrible beyond what i expect for a fairly indie production, i won't waste too much time on them. most of my 'dropped' series are bl series.

i listen to k-pop fairly often, my favorite artist/idol is lee jung-hyun. i enjoy most k-idol pop that emulates 90s/00s soul/rnb, dbsk was always my favorite in that department.

i change my icon fairly often, about twice a year. i change this biography about a dozen times a year.
