This drama is not actually a romance drama. Its a little different and all the characters are relatable. They not only show us love story but also explain all aspect of life. They show us life will be always complicated but you have to live it now, otherwise u will lose time.

No one is perfect , but still we have to give our best Like shi yi was a less than perfect more than average student but he wanted to be a doctor so he studied hard. But then he gets to know in the college that he has blood phobia , so all of his friends (specially xiao ju) helps him to recover.

xiao ju was an average but she managed to get into key University, and still she failed in accounting, then she realizes that she has to change her major.

Le tao is a bit confused character but when it comes to her own relationship she tries her best to solve it but when it doesn't work, she moves on.

chang lang is a nice guy who lose his father in car accident, he knows how to take care of his mother. He works a partime in order to manage his expenses, he even saves internet expenses ,he does not have computer though his major is computer . He is nice to everyone and always helps others :)

Lin You is a really nice girl who also helps others. Her parents got divorce (her father abandoned her and her mom) and she got broke up with her boyfriend, she tries to make money so that she can help her mother.

So its more than a love story :)

Nope. Even in the last 2 episode, he still loves lin you. :)
Like - he still remembers the days looking at the photo lin you and he took back then. After seeing lin you the way he steps towards her, his feelings is clearly showed.
Its like he wants to move on from her but still doesn't want. He is not a sad person but he is also not a very happy person. :)

Its end when she started to believe that there is no chance for her. And cheng lang is fully into lin you. So she also helped cheng lang to express his feelings to linyou.
Its started from ep 24 and ends in ep 27 (first half) fully. In these ep, there is the process of her give up.
Then time skip about 2 years in the middle of ep 27.

Even i was shocked (when i started to watch the drama for first time) to see cheng lang played games secretly. And he was fully addicted.

Actually she started to show her love to SML in college. In school she doesn't show her love side to SML and behaved like a pure friend. And it is in college, when ML realizes that he has feelings for her, and then he became a little nicer to her and then their friendship is developed.
You can say that they give importance in ML and FL's friendship rather than their romance. But still its romantic :D
And their is a big misunderstanding in ep 34 that make them seperate.

Ok we all have male friends. But i said male 'best friend'. And that's why i said 'i think' , im not sure. And it was ep 29 when she had no feelings. But ep 30 she did wanted to give it a chance and didn't shi yi told himself that it was wrong to force her but he couldn't stop chasing her? but when she realize it can hurt him she did stop him and told him to break up. And we all can see how she felt after breaks up.
Just like you have your opinion, i have also mine. I am not baised over anything.

1. Cheng lang and shi yi both are important person in her life. She even told chang lang that whatever happened she can't loose friendship with him and shi yi. So it's pretty common to help your friends as she did. And she also told shi yi many times to stop thinking nonsense whenever shi yi asked her about did she still not give up.
3. That time xiao ju really had no special feelings for shi yi. Le tao also helped her to think that did she has a feelings or not and her reaction was clear that she had not have that type of feelings. And she wanted to help him to move on from her. Even she knew what she was doing it can hurt shi yi but she just wanted to help him to move on from her. (As she knows how it feels to have a false hope)
4. Obviously she will feel comfortable! Anyone can feel it.
What is the problem here?
If suddenly someone (that person is your best friend)confesses you and you have to play fake gf of him, it surely uncomfortable!
I think you don't have a male best friend. I have 2 male best friend. And we are really close. If oneday one of them will confess me and knowing everything if i have to play the role of his girlfriend I'll surely vomit in front everyone. Even i feel awkward to write this😶!! (Although her reaction changed later)
4. Did she get the chance? She didn't even know what was the reason behind shi yi's sudden leave.
And i don't think q. 1, 2, 3,4, 4 was the problem there. But q. 5 was !!

I didn't feel anything like she will lose him till ep 33. It was all okay in ep 33.
All the bad things started in ep 34.

But what i understand that 'someone' , he/she doesn't want ml and fl to end up together, whatever the process would be! Even if they made it a perfect ending still they would say the samethings.

If they didn't make ml and fl together, i believe many people dropped it without even watching it. So, it is not that bad as you said.And there is no problem about their being together, some people just don't like 'the process' they have showed.
