I never read the novel so don't know if it was a happy ending or sad in the novel.
But the movie has sad ending.
The ML and FL indeed got married in the end of the movie but we all know he will die soon (they just didn't show us that) as he had cancer , last stage. But i had heard that movie was very different from the novel.

so how do you feel about the drama after watching upto ep 3?
Like for me, i really like it, it's not that i love it but it's a feel good drama, I'm into unrequited love, light cute romance, best friends to lovers, supportive parents tropes so the drama serves the right things for me.

There is. They introduced a new character in ep 5, Wen Tao, he likes the fl, he is annoying, childish and immature but actually i can't say it's a love triangle. He is more like a *third wheel* who forcefully inserts himself between the ml and fl and distrub them.

She doubt it from the very beginning and then in the beginning of ep 6 she confidently got the idea that he is actually Genius Yu.
And in the end of ep 6/beginning of ep 7 , he told her that he is genius yu.

what secret? which one?

I really like the show, the ML is caring and the FL is smart and caring. Just don't give up on after only 2 episodes. Some people said that the fl didn't care for the ml after seeing only 2 episodes but that's not true and you can see that in ep 3 she cares for him , she is just angry on him as the 1st 2 episodes were all from the ml's point of view so we didn't get to see how the fl feels about him. [you can go to the comment section of bl and read @Aditya Swizo's comment. it can help you more]
In ep 9, the ML confessed his love and in the end of ep 14, the FL confesses her love and they kissed (they already had 3 kisses before). So you can say that they started dating in the end of ep 14.

For my curiosity, why did the ML kiss the SFL a lot of time and why did the SML kiss the FL?
Is it because they were in relationship or because of some kind of revenge thing?

I recently saw the glitch in an another comment section and in that one the same comment repeated 17 times. I later informed that person and then s/he deleted those extra comments.

As i said it's a glitch recently is happening in mdl a lot. S/he indeed replied to the person but due to the glitch it doesn't appear in the reply instead appear separately.

That's exactly the case is happening. It happens to me as well. I edited my comment and two comments appears.

I think it's a glitch (it happens on MDL so much recently) , i don't think the person had any bad intention. I guess s/he replied to @aakankshya_k's comment.

forgot to mention that, you won't get couple scene and kiss scene in every *high school* set up drama as it's a crime in China to date during high school, also the characters are in high school so that's means they are still minors, so the kiss will be obviously inappropriate to think. 😅

well, dating during high school is like a crime in China, they never allowed that. Also they are in high school means the characters are minors, it's not appropriate to wish to watch minors' kissing 🙂

Huh? From ep 2/3 to ep 6, he and she never even brought the past accident so forgot about him saying sorry in those episode.
In ep 7, He said sorry because their mom started to argue about what happened in the past and obviously he FELT sorry about what happened in the past which also makes their moms argue now that's why he said sorry and the fact that during their school time he never actually went to explain that it was a misunderstanding , they need to clear the topic, they can't just forget about it magically like it's never happened, they already stopped mentioning it since ep 2 and then after 4 episodes later they brought it in ep7 to end the part 🤷🏻‍♀️

where did she misunderstand him, huh? I said she knew how the accident happened and she knew he wasn't in the fault. And she was angry on him in the beginning of the drama not because of she thought he was in fault but there was other reason. You just skip and watch some scenes and never watch the episodes actually

And you haven't answered the part where you continuously repeated that she abused him continuously ? mention a scene except ep 1 where she hit or abuse him!
I can't even say that hit on ep 1 was an abuse. She didn't just hit him for no reason, she had her reason from her pov.

If irl most of the asian families are like that (over protecting and toxic) , what's the problem if they show that in dramas ? They can't just fake it and sugercoated it. I have no problem with showing toxic parents because that's how it is actually.
