i dropped this drama cause it was way too melodramatic and 2015'ish but man was it memorable. i still think about oh hae young and her shenanigans. one of those dramas that aren't good but are memorable.
So i'll just copy and paste my old text, which you will find below as well. This happens when people do not make…
the cause of his de*th isn't sui*ide but the message of the drama is that idols are human too? why does she even try to go to the past if the cause of his de*th is entirely accidental?
tell me exactly how is it that a drama has good intentions and simultaneously changes aspects of the story to be similar to a real life tragedy? and honestly even if you take out the similarities, don't you think it's a little effed up to use mental health issues as a mere plot device and push the idea that people who struggle can be "fixed" if a good enough person comes around? consider a lot of us have issue with this drama not only because of jh but also due to the problematic portrayal of mental health issues (and before you mention it, yeah this whole argument also includes minho's 'somehow 18')
and about the airing date, i get it. but would it really have been impossible to change it to a few days after? it HAD to be april 8th? like if you know your drama can be connected to that and that it will cause controversy you won't take the risk and just change it to another day.
Congratulations on believing everything what is being spread around. I love manipulative people. No but coming…
had they sticked to the plot of the manhwa and changed the release date they'd be no issue. also the fact that the band is called moon and that's the name shawols use to refer to jh.. I understand that sort of thing can't be changed after the drama has been made but the release date could've been changed

the webtoon was not based on his story, but the creators of the drama altered certain aspects of the drama to make it more similar to jh's story and profit off of it https://x.com/SHINeeProSquad/status/1768579035775566182
