Three periods, one truth

This drama clearly shows how people in power can silence the truth. The ending is a bit disappointing because it doesn't show how the main criminals were judged, only giving us a short glimpse instead. Still, the whole story is very touching. The sacrifices of Hou Guiping, Jiang Yang, and others made the drama emotional and unforgettable.

This drama explores family relationships from different perspectives. It shows how hard it can be to make the right choice when you're stuck in a bad situation. The main character isn't purely good or bad, they're just deeply human. Highly recommended if you enjoy morally grey characters. The pacing is slow at times, but it adds to the tension.
