Am I... the drama? ***RANT AHEAD, DLDR*** Honestly, I've read the novel a while ago (before watching this drama) after considering for a long time if there were any angst and those 'blindness' that might affect the storyline. /I've been wondering why am I so familiar with this Montgomery LOL/ In my memory, there's not much conflict in the novel, but why is this (drama) turned out to be so.... emmm... dramatic? In the novel, he is already blind, and it was not manmade (CMIIW), he is sick, so after years of practices he can produce amazing/? food even without his eyes. Yes, I admit, the romance thing were as thin as air, but not unnoticeable, and leaned more to the end with him still blind and KS is fine with it. BTW, I'm on ep 21 rn, not sure if I want to continue to watch this coz there's so many negative comment stating the conflict was rubbish. But, yeah, I'm not really sure what was I want to point out about with this rant, anyway it's such a shame, the cast was really good actually, the chemistry were also good enough to entice me for discovering more what's gonna happen between Oli & KS. I recommend you to read the novel instead, you can search the title of the novel and it will turns out in novelupdates(dot)com, it's a quick read I promise (not sure if you're not as addicted to novel as I am LOL). I don't know what to said about the difference between ZSC character in novel and the drama... a lil bit disappointed but understand it through normal people whom haven't read the novel wouldn't want a 'really strong' ML, do we?

really? what a surprised tho, bcs i've read the novel, even tho the whole major plot really resemble the novel (actress profession, game, etc) but the ML background was quite different so i thought the plot will flow differently
I never thought that kim soo hyun would be Lu Ting Xiao, as my imagination constantly thinking that LTX would be more buff, taller but still handsome (cleaner side of handsome). and I think IU is too fragile for NX, NX had to be strong, independent, pretty and cute at the same time, while IU in HdL likely to be more violent than strong
Maybe we could try watching her other dramas to prove ourselves wrong. I am truly annoyed by her expressions.…
actually i'm a 'kind of' fans of her, not sure why, bcz her face maybe? i haven't watched this one so i don't know if her acting is good or nah. I liked her because Le Coup de Foudre which her character seems a bit silly (idk if her acting is good/she's usually act like that), and the plot was 'quite good' for me. i didn't watch her drama with Tao too. what's the point i'm trying to convey here??? anyway, that's my two cents
