Both A Little Thing Called First Love and Always Home are similar because they’re coming-of-age stories that focus on friendship, self-growth, and the emotional journey of first love. Both follow characters from their school years into adulthood, showing how friendships shape them, how quiet crushes slowly develop, and how personal challenges help them discover who they really are. While First Love centers more on one girl’s transformation because of her crush, and Always Home uses a larger friend group with deeper family themes, both dramas share the same warm, realistic, nostalgic vibe about growing up, changing, and finding love along the way.

Multiple Couples in both.:
EACH FAMILY MEMBER GETS A LOVELINE! :
For Eagle brothers: 6 pairings
Love Me: 3 Pairings
Different Ages of couples/Different generations of Couples!
3-6 couples each from DIFFERENT GENERATIONS, that's why different couples, they show love from 3-6 different ages.
Both are Family + slice of life + Romance, with some melodrama (well latter half of For Eagle Brothers. Still quite light).

Both are variations of the same source material, "Handbook for Pretending to Be Good" (rough translation), "Wei Di" being the newer production of the two.
"Ji Yue Ru Chu" has a more expansive plot with more character and conflicts. Some reviewers say this version is closer to the source material.
"Wei Di" cuts down on a lot of content and focuses on the FL "fishing" the male leads. Production quality does feel better imo.
Should be version 1: https://kisskh.at/people/123129-li-shi-yao#comment-23446768

Similar story of becoming a concubine and treating it like a job, striving for promotions and salary raises by pleasing the "client".
—2 close friends come together to murder abusive guy
— aside from focusing on abuse, focuses on the perversion and exploitation of men
— family member refuses to see their son as the problem and seeks revenge at any cost
— will take you on an emotional rollercoaster

If you liked this series not only for the main leads, but ALSO for Net and James, then you will love the series Bed Friend, they are the main leads in this series with Tutor(ep 10) and Yim as they are not as common in the show because its mainly portrayed for Net and James, Yim is a recurring character in the series.
If you liked Battle of the Writers because of the main leads or just because of the chemistry of the series from Tutor and Yim, then you would love and enjoy their other series The Middleman's Love. Their chemistry is amazing in both series, and the acting is incredible.
She is My Love Cage is much darker of a story!
Male Leads are ruthless Gang leaders that lets NO ONE control them.
Both Male leads are Anti-heroes!
The heroine is the Light to their Darkness. Hence the passionate pursuit.
Slap-Kiss scenes in both Dramas. Male leads are both hella insane and madly in love with their heroines!

I feel like the themes are quite similar—Shadow Beauty is a little darker, but when you compare the pictures, it almost looks like a copycat.
Even though both dramas include some romance, it’s never the main focus. The real emphasis is on social media and the internet, and how they influence and control the people around you and your life.
