This is a serious drama with a food/palace/royal kitchen theme, very similar to Bon Appétit, Your Majesty. It shows in detail how palace kitchens operated, with a realistic focus on food preparation and the politics surrounding it.

The opening scenes are so similar you can’t help but wonder if it’s a rip off of the save story. Except that the girl wants to kill the night deity in SD whereas the FL was thankful for his help in MM…

- Both dramas blend the genres of crime, comedy, and action.
- Both Confidence Queen and Player have a revenge element. The teams in both dramas don't just act for personal gain; they also seek justice for people who have been wronged by those in power.
- Each team member has a specific role and exceptional skills.

If you enjoyed the storyline of a genius team taking down bad guys in a clever and humorous way in Confidence Queen, then Player will most likely provide you with a similar and satisfying viewing experience. Player even comes with second season.

Themes of unrequited love and friends into lovers. ML is photographer in both. MTF is a longer form drama with more back and forth compared to S1.

Though the presentation is different, both shows have very similar basic elements. When I first started When Destiny Brings The Demon, I immediately remembered Love Between Fairy And Demon.

- ML slowly warms up to the female and treats her gently.

The stories are obviously not the same but there are so many elements that are similar that it is hard to deny. There might be even more similarities but as I am still watching When Destiny Brings The Demon, this is already quite a lot of details that I've noticed besides avoiding certain spoilers.

Both series are historical BL romances set in the early 20th century.

Thee (Memoir of Rati) and Yai (I Feel You Linger in the Air) have very similar personalities; gentle, kind, and understanding young men from wealthy families that fall in love with someone considered lower class.

Both series also share similar themes such as the mistreatment of servants and the lives of wealthy families living in homes along canals or rivers.

Both talks about infidelity and cheating, also friends with facade appearance.
The kenja has some revenge story which is the core of the whole thing but still both somehow have the same vibes of messy relationships

Very strong and determined female and male characters in both dramas. Here, the main character seeks revenge, but in her relentlessness and vindictiveness, the heroine is no less than him. A love relationship that begins with a lie.

In both series, the central focus is on the heroine seeking vengeance for the injustices she has endured. Each female lead is sharp-witted, carefully devises her strategy for retribution, and pursues it with relentless determination.
