Finally!!! A decade of waiting and searching for movies similar to my all-time favourite Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and it just went like this.

One of the reasons why I watched Love Untangled. If LU was of your taste, then "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is just perfect for your cravings (my top-tier for this kind) and there won't be any movie that i could recommend like LU, none more than CLTCL.

OK! wont spoil any more further! u'll know when you watch CLTCL, but still, don't let your guard down pal! hehe ;)

...thank me later as you'll meet my forever favourite "first love" themed movie on your screens cause there's really nothing, like a crazy little thing called love.

Both Tie Me (K)not and 101st Marriage Proposal showcase how authentic, unwavering love can help heal past traumas and empower a strong woman to reclaim her emotional strength. Both dramas center around a female lead deeply wounded—Lalita from abuse, Kaoru from grief—whose emotional healing comes through the steadfast, caring love of the male lead. In Tie Me (K)not Lalita finds empowerment through her journey and Toey’s support; in 101st Marriage Proposal Kaoru learns to move forward and embrace love again through Tatsuro’s persistence.

Both Lhong Ngao Jun and Jamloei Rak follow revenge-driven plots fueled by mistaken identity, where the male leads target the wrong women for past tragedies. Ae blames Pim for his friend’s death, while Harit blames Soraya for his brother’s suicide. Both men later realize the women are innocent, and their hatred gradually turns into love. The dramas blend themes of revenge, romance, and emotional growth, with both female leads suffering mistreatment from their families.

The trailer totally fooled me into thinking this was going to be a Mulan story... I mean, the title Female General basically screamed it.

And then there’s the bath scene in the hot spring—yeah, both versions had the male lead attacking the female lead.

Both series feature a badass female lead and a supportive, equally strong male lead!
Questionable ending but the story is captivating from the very beginning.

I can’t help but think of Blossom every time I watch Female General. It gives off a similar vibe—watching the female lead fight hard against her destiny, and somehow, you just know things will work out for her.

The male lead is a general too, and both of them absolutely adore the female leads in their own stories.

- Both have great action scenes.
- They both have absolutely hilarious comedy.
- Both Dramas were filmed by the same director.
- Both of them weren't boring at all, and have great storylines.
- OSTs are also brilliant in both.
Would definitely recommend to watch The Fiery Priest if you liked Boyhood, or the other way round, goes both ways, as both Kdramas are awesome!

In both, the FL is a powerful demoness feared by immortals.

- Demoness's love interest is her servant
- Demoness dies early on, and it's the love interest's fault
- Demoness returns to life years later
- After her return, the love interest has grown much stronger and the master/servant roles are now reversed
- Devoted love interest

The Legends is a full-length series with MF romance while Nv Er Hong is a GL mini-series.

Similar plot. The Blue Skies at Your Feet is a simpler version of The 100th Love with You. Both are great.

The main character of The King and The Clown is based on the same person in history as the jester in Bon Appetit. It is set in the same period of time and of course, both kings are based on the same historical king. They mention this incredible movie in Bon Appetit so I think people should watch it to understand the reference and also because the movie is really good and was a cultural touchstone in Korean society. They both take a look at the romantic life of the King in different ways. I highly, highly recommend.

- ML travels to ancient times and gets tangled with the political situation
- One of the MCs is a royal, another a warrior
- Fighting against fate
- Themes of friendship
- Both weave time-travel into the very narrative rather than just the one time
- Both MLs struggle to fit into historical times
- Weak ML x Strong FL
- Both dramas are interesting and well-crafted

The biggest difference is the 'twist' in AALS. VtH is also more comedic and has more focus on friendship than romance.
