Yoshida, the diligent class representative, couldn't help but feel a growing sense of concern for her classmate, Yano; day after day, he would arrive at school covered in injuries, leaving her puzzled and worried about the cause.

Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Yoshida and her friends decided to investigate Yano's situation more closely, discovering that Yano is an extremely unlucky boy! What's more, he's unable to lead a normal high school life due to his 'unlucky constitution.' Moved by Yano's plight, Yoshida resolved to provide him with unwavering support.

As she spent more time with Yano, she found herself increasingly drawn to his pure and straightforward nature, but the distance between them just didn't seem too close.

Meanwhile, Yoshida is confessed to by the most popular boy in school... This unexpected turn of events only further complicates the already delicate situation as Yano, touched by Yoshida's kindness, begins to develop feelings for her.

These two drama's are similar in that the leads reunite years later in a professional work setting. The one that had been somewhat rejected tries to forget about his feelings while the other tries his best to rekindle their relationship. Our dating sim is a korean drama while Love is better the second time around is a japanese drama.
I found both dramas to be quite adorable and entertaining.

Both are scary horror Thai BL dramas. However Khemjira follows a more traditional supernatural horror theme and follows a BL main couple + side couple while in Dead Friend Forever, the psychological horror and solving the mystery is the main focus rather than romance although there are some male-male pairs.

Both films explore the inner lives of emotionally reserved men through stillness, routine, and human connection. If you appreciated Drive My Car for its quiet grief, subtle character work, and visual storytelling, Perfect Days delivers a more stripped-down but equally moving experience. It’s about how we carry sorrow, seek beauty in simplicity, and remain open—however softly—to the people life places in our path.

It's also a coming-of-age story, and the interactions between the main leads are just as sweet. I would argue that the acting in Meeting You might be a little bit better. The friend group dynamic is also similar in that they're supportive of each other. Ml a little reserved, fl outgoing.

Although Healer and When Life Gives You Tangerines differ greatly in genre, pacing, and overall style, both series share a thoughtful engagement with Korea’s past era in the background and the parent issues. I was intrigued by getting a glimpse of the parents’ youth in Healer.
