Lee Sang Tae, a widower for five years, lives with his two children and supportive parents-in-law. He works as a marketing team leader at a fashion brand, never expecting to fall in love again. Ahn Mi Jeong, an assistant manager at the same company, has been raising her three children alone since her husband left her for an affair. She lies to her children, telling them their father moved to America. As Lee and Ahn begin to find love again, their journey is complicated by the challenges of blending their families.

Byun Moo Jin was married to Geum Ae Yeon. They had a daughter, Byun Mi Rae, and a son, Byun Hyun Jae, during their marriage. Moo Jin attempted various business ventures while married, but they all failed. His family could not take him anymore, and they cut him off from them.

After going through a divorce, Ae Yeon experienced difficulties raising her two children by herself. Now, 11 years later, she works part-time at a big mart. Her daughter and son are all grown up. The daughter, Mi Rae, wanted to become a person her mother could rely on. She works as the MD at a big mart. She is also the breadwinner of the family. The son, Hyun Jae, has a unique charm, but he is also the troublemaker of the family.

High school student Kim Eun Mi’s life changed when she became pregnant and chose to raise her daughter, Jin Hui, on her own. Now in her forties, Eun Mi works as a physical therapist while Jin Hui, at twenty-nine, is an officer at the Namchon Police Substation. Though Jin Hui is an adult, she still lives with her mother, leading to constant bickering despite their deep love for each other. Eun Mi's life grows more complicated when Dr. Park Jin Hong appears, while Jin Hui faces challenges with her new director, Eun Jae Won.

In both, the plot is centered around korean film industry in the 1970s, and feature Filmmaker Leads.

Both have also really good casting.

REALISTIC APPROACH to healing in both.

Watching both, is like a warm hug, telling you everything will be allright.

I love this version more than the HK adaptation.

Watch the Eastern Heretic first, followed by Nine Yin Evil Sutra and lastly Hot Blooded.

They are both based on the same novel. Eastern heretic is about Huang Yaoshi and his adventure while Nine Yin Sutra is about Mei Chao Feng and her tragic romance.

Both dramas are good to watch.

Both FL treated ML horrible in their past. They chased the SML.

Both FL realizes they have loved ML all along. When they get reborn they do everything to love ML.

Both Male leads truly love the heroine. Touching love-stories!
