Angry mom was a very fun watch not gonna lie after falling into a slump it was easy to get into however beware that you might be deceived cuz from the posters the trailers it seemed to be comedy mixed with drama but it turned out to be a melodrama tbh the reason behing my rating is that I personally enjoy social issues in dramas and hate to get political so I cant lie and say that I didnt care about the politics the corruption and whatnot tbh I stuck for jisoo his role here is just wow a breath of fresh air overall you should definetly check it out however its most likely not gonna blow you away

Wow that was such a good drama! I watched all episodes in one go because i couldn’t stop myself! At first i wasn‘t sure if i want to try it out because i didn’t really had any motivation. Thats why i began to start it after almost one Year of waiting. I really don‘t have it that often to feel emotions while watching (big happiness, extreme excitement, sadness) but For this one i had no problems and enjoyed it so much! I had for some long time problems to find dramas that make so much fun to watch:( and after finding this one i‘m so happy that i tried it! Would definitely watch it again in some months because of the good storyline! (Btw i loved the relationship between the daughter and the rich son who seems at first arrogant but is deep inside a good boy<3)

If I'm honest, I didn't mean to watch this drama... I was actually trying to watch a Chinese show called 'Tiger Mom' but when I typed it in to the search engine the first couple links said 'Angry Mom' and, assuming it was just a translation thing, I clicked on a random link. As soon as the episode started I knew I was in the wrong place, but I'd already started so I thought I'd at least finish the first episode. I wasn't really sure what to think at first, but a couple days later I was bored so I thought I'd check out another episode and I am so happy I did!! This drama is officially one of new my favourites~!!
I have recommended this show to many friends but none of them even got threw the first episode!! I assure you though, the first episode may be kind of... strange... but after that it gets SO GOOD~! I couldn't recommend this drama any more (and not just because of the cute guys in it ;) )!! Just PLEASE get past the first episode before you make any judgements...!! ^^

"Angry Mom" tells the story of Jo Kang Ja, a young mother who had her daughter Ah Ran when she was still a teenager. Because of this, Ah Ran feels angry at her mother, who lies that she is her dead sister's daughter so as not to tell the truth. Ah Ran starts coming home from school hurt and then her friend Yi Kyung ends up dying, leaving Ah Ran completely devastated and with her mind destroyed. Kang Ja makes it her mission to infiltrate the school to find out the truth and protect her daughter. She then becomes the student: Jo Bang Wool.

Kang Ja starts looking for clues and discovers that there is a lot of corruption at the school, which benefits the richest and most intelligent, leaving the others aside, and the person at the center of it all is Jung Woo, a teacher who seems to be a kind person, but in fact hides his true face. Kang Ja receives help from Noh Ah, a young ideological teacher who believes in the goodness of human beings and that everyone deserves a second chance.

There's also Bok Dong, a troublemaker who goes from villain to hero. He starts the drama by threatening Ah Ran and ends up almost dying to save her and his other schoolmates. It was beautiful to see Bok Dong's transformation, to see him fall in love with Kang Ja, without knowing that she is actually an ahjumma. HAHA'

At first I didn't like Ah Ran very much, even though she saw everything her mother was going through to protect her, to find out the truth, Ah Ran only knew how to complain, but over time she began to realize her mother's love and everything Kang Ja sacrificed for her, she learned to be grateful for having such an incredible mother.

In addition to school violence, the story also portrays the subject of sexual violence, as Kang Ja ended up getting pregnant as a result of rape when she was a teenager and the person who did this to her appears again as he is involved in the school's corruption. This causes a delicate situation for both Kang Ja and Ah Ran, as Kang Ja has to relive the trauma she suffered and Ah Ran ends up discovering that her biological father is a monster.

This drama really shows the strength, the unconditional love and what makes a real mother. It's not just anyone who would dress up as a teenager, enter their daughter's school and investigate something that everyone is trying to cover up and also beat up a bunch of annoying teenagers.

It's an incredible production, it was one of the first dramas I watched that showed the issue of violence in schools, how it can be a toxic and lethal environment for teenagers. The story mixes serious situations with light moments of humor very well and ends by sending a beautiful message: that one must have the courage to act when necessary, there's no point in hiding from the truth and what's wrong. Kang Ja began this journey wanting to take justice into her own hands because she couldn't get help from the law, but she wouldn't have been able to achieve anything alone, she needed someone on her side to help her.

"I just love it havin so much fun. I just wanna have a merry time. Don't be shy, Angry mom". <3

This is one of so many Korean dramas that touches the heart not only the mom's but the public in general. It heartbreaking to see the struggles in everyone's life and the impotency of those looking for justice. Great cast, performance and music. The storyline, awesome!

Mon avis complet est à retrouver ici : https://reviewmydrama.blogspot.fr/2017/07/review-angry-mom.html

I didn't really liked it. It wasn't what I expected it to be at all. But what bothered me more was how hard it has been for me to get into it. It took several episodes before I stopped forcing myself to keep going... But, in the end, it wasn't that bad.

oh god i can feel the cringe down my spine
i was putting it on hold for quite a while after ep1
continue to watch again (ep 2&3) just so i have good reason to drop it from on-hold to dropped

feel like the characters is way too exaggerated and flat. the character, personality, action, and word are like a scarecrow in nurse outfit holding a machine gun.

and did i mention it cringe me to the ground. also no matter how you look at her, her face is that of a 30 yo woman. they should do a better job building it, at least make it a little more make sense and realistic. instead all the justification come out just through other characters word.

and what make me cringe even more is that naive male teachers. i know he is supposed to be the 'good guy' but to me he came out as unreasonably and unnecessary kind, also tactless and clingy.
