"Angry Mom" tells the story of Jo Kang Ja, a young mother who had her daughter Ah Ran when she was still a teenager. Because of this, Ah Ran feels angry at her mother, who lies that she is her dead sister's daughter so as not to tell the truth. Ah Ran starts coming home from school hurt and then her friend Yi Kyung ends up dying, leaving Ah Ran completely devastated and with her mind destroyed. Kang Ja makes it her mission to infiltrate the school to find out the truth and protect her daughter. She then becomes the student: Jo Bang Wool.

Kang Ja starts looking for clues and discovers that there is a lot of corruption at the school, which benefits the richest and most intelligent, leaving the others aside, and the person at the center of it all is Jung Woo, a teacher who seems to be a kind person, but in fact hides his true face. Kang Ja receives help from Noh Ah, a young ideological teacher who believes in the goodness of human beings and that everyone deserves a second chance.

There's also Bok Dong, a troublemaker who goes from villain to hero. He starts the drama by threatening Ah Ran and ends up almost dying to save her and his other schoolmates. It was beautiful to see Bok Dong's transformation, to see him fall in love with Kang Ja, without knowing that she is actually an ahjumma. HAHA'

At first I didn't like Ah Ran very much, even though she saw everything her mother was going through to protect her, to find out the truth, Ah Ran only knew how to complain, but over time she began to realize her mother's love and everything Kang Ja sacrificed for her, she learned to be grateful for having such an incredible mother.

In addition to school violence, the story also portrays the subject of sexual violence, as Kang Ja ended up getting pregnant as a result of rape when she was a teenager and the person who did this to her appears again as he is involved in the school's corruption. This causes a delicate situation for both Kang Ja and Ah Ran, as Kang Ja has to relive the trauma she suffered and Ah Ran ends up discovering that her biological father is a monster.

This drama really shows the strength, the unconditional love and what makes a real mother. It's not just anyone who would dress up as a teenager, enter their daughter's school and investigate something that everyone is trying to cover up and also beat up a bunch of annoying teenagers.

It's an incredible production, it was one of the first dramas I watched that showed the issue of violence in schools, how it can be a toxic and lethal environment for teenagers. The story mixes serious situations with light moments of humor very well and ends by sending a beautiful message: that one must have the courage to act when necessary, there's no point in hiding from the truth and what's wrong. Kang Ja began this journey wanting to take justice into her own hands because she couldn't get help from the law, but she wouldn't have been able to achieve anything alone, she needed someone on her side to help her.

"I just love it havin so much fun. I just wanna have a merry time. Don't be shy, Angry mom". <3
