To start off, this drama is a rewatch drama- meaning, you need to hate it half way, drop it, and then pick it back up from the beginning to understand what the hell is going on. Other dramas I can categorize as 'rewatch dramas' are Oh My Venus, and Oh My Ghost (I didn't plan for them to both start with Oh My.)
Goods:
>Suzy's character, Noh Eul has the best determination I have ever seen in a character. Even though she herself has some very down moments, she still picks herself up, and that is what made me love her character. Most people are hypocritical with Suzy's acting and I do agree that it is bad at times but I honestly feel like she brought this character to life the best she could. She has no parents anymore, is struggling with her brother and her fiend from HS is now a popstar. Wouldn't that be your worst nightmare? If I figured out that someone that was an ass to me in HS was a celebrity I would honestly be pissed.
> Speaking of Joon Yeong's fame- I feel like it was almost needed in this film. It was a little useless in the beginning but towards the end of the drama, he had a lot of connections due to his fame that helped him accomplish his revenge the best way possible.
>The backstory between them is very meticulous and was actually all over the place, but a lot of backstories that have past childhood friendships/relationships are very mushy or are just put in the story line too fast. I feel like the backstory here helped the story when it was getting boring, and gave them such a closer bond. Almost like the bond you see in the drama Bubblegum (which is one of my favorite other dramas of all time.)
>I love the fact that they were there for each other. In times of Noh Eul's deepest sorrows and hardest moments as she complained and screamed with a bottle of soju in her hands, Joon Yeong experienced empathy for her and wanted to be with her with everything. At the same time, his character did a lot of pulling back- which I can only put to as him not wanting to get close to her since his impending doom of cancer slowly killing him. But, at his last waking moments- I really loved his character. With all my heart I did. He poured all his heart (the character and the actor) into getting a hold of his mom again throughout the drama, and you can hear his desperate pleading towards the end. The scene will stick with me forever because it seemed so real. He did SUCH a great job with his character.
The 'Oh My God GET OFF OF MY SCREEN' bads:
>Why THE HELL did the rich family even have to be in this? Why? Every second that rich family that is practically connected to EVERYTHING have to show up. They were bratty, and the one teenage girl was a legit brat when it came to her fangirling obsession with Joon Yeong like stop it, seriously. She made me not want to even watch the drama at times.
>Im Joo Hwan. I've discussed in my Oh My Ghost review how much I hate his character and how I never will like him in any drama. He legit ruined this drama for me in a way. I loved the two main characters and Go Na Ri. If it focused more on the relationship between the two of them and less on Im Joo Hwan's character- I would've rated it all 10 stars. Gosh. Pleh. Anyway.

One of my favorite Love-hate feels
At first, I didn't like the drama because they said it was a sad ending. But when my cousin recommended me this, and she said this is one of her top 1 favorite so far. Then I feel curious about it and I started watching it and it hooked me. Actually I didn't binge watch this, I finished it within one month because I'm not ready for the ending HAHAHA and also I have a lot of school works, so I cannot binge it. I only give 9 on re watch value because every time I saw this it hurts me too muchHere are the things that you need to know:
1. Good plot twist
2. The ending of each episode made me want to watch on the next episode (Gladly I can handle it because of too many school works HAHAHAHA)
3. You need to bring tissue or water on the last episodes especially if you are an emotional person (like me) I swear I'm not joking.
4. You cannot move on after watching the last episode, again if your an emotional person you can't get over it, your still crying over it.
5. There might be a tendency that you feel the characters make you angry except for No Eul (Bae Suzy). She is a very strong woman, no matter people hate her or discriminate her she is still continuing on her life and to stay strong. She inspires me a lot.
6. This is a heavy drama
7. Some people say that they don't feel interested on the first few episodes but for me it's not... The first few episodes make me hooked more.
8. You will fall for Kim Woo bin HAHAHAHA before he is not my type actually I don't feel a second lead syndrome on" the heirs" But when I watched this, GOSH! I was wrong, he is really handsome and a good actor!
9. Great Chemistry!
This is all that I can say! Overall I enjoyed it! I hope this helps for you

One of the best melodrama
I dont know why lot of people's giving it 8 stars when it deserves 10 stars, i've watch this drama in 2019 and whenever i feel like watching it again i do so.. this is the only drama i've watched for 4-5 times, i hve never rewatch any drama other than this, if i can go back and remove this from my memory and get to watch it again for first time i would love to.. lots of love to kim woo bin and bae suzy. If you're going to watch this drama don't hesitate and go for it, and yes keep the tissue boxes nearby bcs one box wouldn't be enough 🤌🏻 this is heart wrenching drama..Was this review helpful to you?

It's Excellent
I haven't watched that much drama because I only recently got into drama so feel free to disagree with me but for me, uncontrollably fond is an excellent series. What I first thought of the romantic development between the two characters is that it's not enough and there's no real connection between them and I also disliked that jun young was mean to eul rather than building a relationship but it hit me. Uncontrollably fond depicts lost time, where in you can't get back the time you lost. Even though it was obvious that jun young was eventually going to die what made me cry the most is his denial and the fact that he wants to make more of his life and make it up to the people around him and that when things are about to just get good it disappears. Rage, hatred, revenge, despair, hopelessness, regrets, misunderstandings, but eventually care, happiness, love, hope, justice, and peace. These are what made uncontrollably fond excellent for me the fact that the lack of romantic development between the protagonist is what backs up the idea of lost time, something you won't ever get back. But I was satisfied with the ending jun young found true happiness and at ep 19 we get to see what jun young and eul could've been, the scene might be cliché but for me it's still wholesome. Jun young died with true happiness and peacefully and everyone around him, and everyone he loves is doing alright. It felt like everything was going to be okay. And I gotta commend the acting it was very good especially when jun young is crying I can see his lips shaking and all the characters showed sincerity it made it feel natural and real. And music is also good overall 9.5/10 would watch again. Was this review helpful to you?

What review can be given if the tears is still warm on one’s cheeks. Starting with a strong “...what would happen if I refuse to die?” and then “Let me live”, “I... I’m scared” and ending with “Just sleep” and “See you tomorrow “. This drama have a little (well little more than just little) of everything in. It worth the watch if you love sad endings. I always rate my rewatch rate low as I generally do not rewatch any movies or dramas but in this dramas’ case I just don’t want to cry so much again. Was this review helpful to you?

Review and title
I already gave a review but this title - I'm not sure if it was the translation but for American Viewers this translation was confusing and difficult to remember and had nothing to do with the story and misleading. Uncontrollably Fond has nothing to do with the title. I'm not saying anything negative because I understand this is being translated from Korean to English but in English a great title and memorable would have been: Unforgettable you.Was this review helpful to you?
must watch
wow wow wow!Although it could have been 16 episodes, I didn't regret watching 1 minute of this drama. this is definitely 1 of my favs.
The only thing i didn't like was the screaming or loud voices. I still give it 10/10
I saw the ML in the Heirs and was impressed and did look for other dramas to watch with him, this is second one and have no regrets.
The story is slightly different from the usual terminal illness dramas and the love story is also different, which is what I liked, as most dramas have these immature girlish FLs, that's usually annoying.
I will watch this again and again and would recommend anyone who wants to watch it to do so.

Great
This drama is something else, makes you view life in a whole different dimension, what to do and what not to do when you have life. Also made me see that it’s not only in Africa that corruption and Bribery have tainted. This drama speaks volumes, it says a lot and if you listen well, you’ll hear, FORGET ABOUT THE SAD SCENES, it’s send a message. It’s full of meaning, talks about time , love, forgiveness, second chances, truth, lies, motherhood, Fatherhood, friendship and even enemies.
Teaches how to live life to the fullest and how to use time for fulfilling things.
It showed how people can change and how some people too, can’t change .
I LOVE IT 🥰 🤝👏

My first KDRAMA!
My heart still aches! I cried so much. I have watched this so long ago and this deserves a review on here. I got so attached the each character that even though I knew he was sick, I thought okay maybe there was a little hope and he would live longer. But that video he made, shattered my poor little heart. I cried soooo much LOL. This was my first KTRAUMA!!!

I will see again.
This was a great story and Kim Woo Bin did an excellent performance. I would definitely watch again. It was entertaining, funny, sad at times and I cried my eyes out at the end.My only dislike was the noisiness of Bae Suzy but I truly loved Kim Woo Bin's performing a main role. I have seen him in other dramas where is in a support role. I am a new fan of his and will be following his dramas to see what new roles he does.
I am fairly new to Korean dramas which have become my sole entertainment.
