In a Western city down in the Pacific Ocean watching this movie and couple more delights like it, ETERNAL LOVE has to be my ALL TIME - yes -ALL TIME best love drama ever made. Mark Chao and Yang Mi in my very experienced opinion of Western, Bollywood and Asian dramas are the - Scarlett Ohara and Rhett Butler, of Television. This series grabbed me 4 times to watch it and each time I saw different dimensions of love and hate you dont see in the first sitting. If you aren't an EtLove fan then I suggest a review of your standard of series-drama making. Yang Mi is a convincing actress when stressed, determined, stubborn, tenacious, and forthright...Mark Chao as Ye Hua in this was OUTSTANDING, you walk around for a few days seeing his face on every man you see cause he leaves such a big impression, but also the rest of the cast, fully supported the central storyline too who deserved some credits. OVERALL - this is a must see drama for the West, if it can only be distributed here it would rock the West easily....absolutely GREAT DRAMA SERIES!!!

What I liked the most: I LOVE EVERYTHING IN THIS DRAMA. The magical, soothing, brilliant musical repertoire played just with the perfect timing, the characters, the plot, setting, the unpredictable events and the resolution. Wowwwww!!! I can't help but watch this over and over again. This is sooooooooooooooooo good. First time I watched a lengthy show until morning for 3 consecutive days! I got sick ( due to lack of sleep) but was very happy and smiling while waiting to recover. But even after I recovered, I kept going back to Netflix..I play the songs from morning till evening and even at the office. OHHH, myyy... I really can't and don't want to forget this drama.. I guess I'll keep watching this for life.. It's a kind of story I'd consider to be a real classic..something I'd never discard in my memory. this is for me the real eternal drama for all seasons.

Lots of great stuff and one character I could do without

Epic fantasy with lots of action, conflict and slow-burn romance. Great characters to power the 58 episodes....with one notable exception.

I know some people are fans of the hyper cutsey Dilraba, but she plays the same character and it gets on my nerves. This time, her character seems like a bubbly, selfish doll with the mental age of 13 who wants to get their way no matter what damage it does to others. A-Li is far more mature. To me, no one is cute enough to get away with the selfish stuff she does so I started to roll my eyes whenever her character was on screen. Also, she’s so immature, it’s kind of icky when she’s chasing relentlessly after someone who’s got the gravitas of great grandpa. Ick.

Luckily the main romantic conflict works with a couple of the usual misunderstandings and such.

Also, there is the most adorable child in the story which is just too cute for words.

Overall, I enjoyed the story though it feels a bit more by-the-numbers. Aside from the one big fault (that some people actually like), I liked this one a lot.

EVERYTHING about this drama is SOOOOOOO GOOD!! All the actors played their roles perfectly, the plot and storyline  is great!!!! Not to mention, the OSTS are all great as well. I'm in love! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this drama. If you're hesitating because the characters doesn't look appealing or if theres too much episodes, DONT STOP YOURSELF from watching it. Watch it NOW!!!!! If you Like the remake movie, let me tell you this, the DRAMA IS WAYYYYYYY BETTTER. Trust me lol. I can't stress this enough! It's the first drama ever in my life that I love so much. Mark Chao (Yeng Hua) idk if I spelled that right but he's SOOOOOOOO attractive. At first I didn't really think he was good-looking but he won me over after watching the drama! He attractiveness just grows and GROWS!! His love for the MC (female) just makes me want to cry T^T. Its such a sad, happy, and funny drama. All the characters are so awesome. WATCH IIIIIITTTT! lol

This is my first time writing a review so please bear with me.
Eternal love was not my first chinese historical drama i watched but it still struck me. The main characters were so well complimented with each other it was endearing to see. What i loved the most about this drama was actually the second lead couple. I will not spoil anything about them but while watching them you will just cry and hope that they end up together. Overall the drama had an amazing storyline that let you begging for more. Also there are so many amazing actors in this drama it is just amazing to see.

I will say the drama is long but you will fly through the episodes really just give this drama a chance and you will start begging for a season 2.

Nice dramaaa

Honestly I love the visuals, effects, and hair style of Yang Mi more than the story itself ahahaha. I mean, the story is good, but then I have watched better dramas or known stories that will rip your heart more so yeah (BL stories). Also, I ship Bai Qian and Mo Yuan more than Ye Hua because I think Mo Yuan is more capable of protecting amd more matured. Plus his personality is cute wahahha. Shy type. (respect)
Everyone did a good job though. Love all of them.
Another strong point of this drama is that Side stories dont overcome the main story while at the same time, the side story is anticipating to watch.
Music was very pleasing to the ears.
Totally worth watching.

first I love watching historical dramas and well I love everything about this drama also the story was very good writing  and mostly I love is music in this drama dude music was the reason made me continue watching it and acting was fantastic and also romance between main leads were very sweet and I highly recommend u to watch it and u will not regret watching this drama for 10/10 and their is a lot C-drama's I have watch it but this one is the best for me guys and all u have to do is start watching it now and u will have great time watching it..go now start watching it don't waste ur time..????

Ye hua looks tooo super girly I feel goosebumps while watching him flipping his hair euwwhh


Anyway, the story supposed to be super romantic but I turned off to ye hua hair lol
As mo yuan he looks more manly.


I watch this without reading the review beforehand, also didn’t read the synopsis.. to be honest I thought they are two different person! Ha! Mo yuan is ye hua and ye hua is mo yuan! Ok nevermind I just confused lol


Overall its a great romantic drama
If u like to be over the moon romanticly silly lovey dovey dramas u might love this one
