I couldnt move on from this drama for about 2 week which i keep on replay the soundtrack in my phone RIP to my replay button ? i even did a cover song for the soundtrack but decided to delete it cause i sound like a dying frog.
The supporting actor and actress did very well. You cant help but really feel the hatred whenever their scene appear i keep on cursing? but then i realize that wow they really bring out the character alive. Thats whats we called Act. ❤

Beautiful xianxia and definitely an OG
The OG, this is the show that made me start loving cdramas. The sets and costumes are beautiful. Yang mi portrayed the carefree and subsequently regal queen of Qingqiu really well . Too Much Angst
Eternal Love is one of the first suggestions for those looking for something similar to Love Between Fairy and Devil. While the two dramas certainly had similar elements, I found Eternal Love to be too dark and depressing. It does have a happy ending (for those that need that reassurance), but at what cost? The characters go through some truly traumatic experiences; the villains are almost mustache twirling obvious; and the pacing of each arc felt drawn out and overwhelming.While I may not have enjoyed the overall plot (or, at least, the way it is told), the acting and OST are top notch. Yang Mi and Mark Chao had some electric chemistry on screen, and their romantic scenes sizzled. Mark Chao, in general, completely impressed me - he played two very different characters in such an effortless and graceful way. I would say give this drama a chance if it sounds interesting you, but be willing to drop it if it doesn't hit you the right way.

Lots of great stuff and one character I could do without
Epic fantasy with lots of action, conflict and slow-burn romance. Great characters to power the 58 episodes....with one notable exception.I know some people are fans of the hyper cutsey Dilraba, but she plays the same character and it gets on my nerves. This time, her character seems like a bubbly, selfish doll with the mental age of 13 who wants to get their way no matter what damage it does to others. A-Li is far more mature. To me, no one is cute enough to get away with the selfish stuff she does so I started to roll my eyes whenever her character was on screen. Also, she’s so immature, it’s kind of icky when she’s chasing relentlessly after someone who’s got the gravitas of great grandpa. Ick.
Luckily the main romantic conflict works with a couple of the usual misunderstandings and such.
Also, there is the most adorable child in the story which is just too cute for words.
Overall, I enjoyed the story though it feels a bit more by-the-numbers. Aside from the one big fault (that some people actually like), I liked this one a lot.

Ye Hua love and affection for the person he fell in love with is beyond anything in the universe.
I just finished watching this incredible show, and I have to say, it completely stole my heart. I never expected to become so invested, but I watched all 58 episodes in just a few days, barely sleeping! The ending was so touching, and the devotion of the characters Ye Hua really resonated with me. Even after two days, I still feel their emotions in my heart. It’s amazing how a show can do that. I found myself crying and feeling every bit of the character's pain and love. A special shoutout to Mark Chao, the Canadian actor, who truly brought this character to life. Eternal love was not my first chinese historical drama i watched but it still struck me. The main characters were so well complimented with each other it was endearing to see. What i loved the most about this drama was actually the second lead couple. I will not spoil anything about them but while watching them you will just cry and hope that they end up together. Overall the drama had an amazing storyline that let you begging for more. Also there are so many amazing actors in this drama it is just amazing to see.
I will say the drama is long but you will fly through the episodes really just give this drama a chance and you will start begging for a season 2.

Best Drama Ever!
I truly love this show!Ye Hua - This character made me believe that he was in love and also devastated when he lost Susu. I loved watching him with his son and also continuing his quest to reunite with her despite the odds. Disliked - how he didn't protect her enough while staying in the palace which ultimately led to the demise of their relationship. He allowed her to be ignored, bullied and mistreated (turning a blind eye). Overall, this actor conveyed so much depth in his acting!!!! Truly amazing work!
Bai Qian / Susu - I enjoyed watching this character and her development throughout the show. I must admit that I was happy when she left Ye Hua after not protecting her when she was Susu! That gave me a lot of satisfaction. She took her power back and walked away. I disliked how she left her child behind and never truly formed a true motherly bond with him even when she later reincarnated back to Bai Qian. He was the smartest most intelligent kid.
Lian Song - I absolutely loved this character and how fair he was during the show. He was so supportive and understanding. It touched my heart to see how compassionate he was to Ye Hua. Best supporting actor in my opinion.
Su Jin - They gave this character too much screen time! To have a character obsessed with a man for 48 episodes was overkill. I believe she is the most annoying person I've watched since watching Chinese dramas. That means the actress also did a good job because I could not stand her!!!!
Kissing Scenes - in these drama shows, I noticed that 90% of them show love scenes in a very strange way. I don't understand why the kissing and love scenes borderline on unwanted and forced. The writers, directors and actors have a choice but consistently choose the route. It can be unsettling.
