Another Miss Oh

I just want to share some thoughts I had while watching this drama.

Above all, I really enjoyed watching it, I was longing to watch a romantic comedy with angst at the same time and luckily I was able to find everything I was looking for in this drama. 18 episodes of 1 hour each was nothing for me! I watched so fast bcs it really caught my attention, all the episodes left me with a taste of wanting more.

So first, I want to talk about the main characters. Regular Oh Hae Young was, frankly, a very realistic character. I confess that at times she bothered me, but that was the most attractive thing about her. She is an independent character and could easily exist in real life. I was able to feel very empathetic about her, her insecurity and “trauma” with the beautiful Oh Hae Young may seem silly but in fact I managed to understand her completely. Sometimes she was selfish, as in the scene where she wished all the other women in the world to disappear, because she was feeling frustrated by her non-reciprocal love, and when she felt comfort in ML's pain. Those two scenes made me think a lot, and it made me like her sincerely. These feelings are Real, we all have these "intrusive" thoughts and feelings, and it's completely normal.

Park Do Kyeong was the most relatable to me. He is not an cold man, but an introverted man who is traumatized. His difficulty in expressing his feelings, in saying and acting when necessary, his way of giving up on things out of fear or simply feeling without energy for this, was very real to me. I am just like that - not traumatized with love at all - but quite the same introvert. And that is why his actions made so much sense to me, I could really feel with him and empathize with the character. The plot of how it was necessary for him to see his regrets before he died was also very interesting and made me reflect a lot on.

The romance was very captivating, it was great to see the growth of their feelings for each other and how deep it turned out to be. I confess that at times it was quite stressful, despite the characters being so realistic the romance didn't seem much, but I don't know why. However, I liked it nonetheless.

Here come the disgrace:

I couldn't stand the supporting characters, especially Jin Sang. HE GOT ON MY NERVES. I hated him and everything about him: without charisma, childish and SO BORING. The romance between him and Soo Kyeong was totally forced, meaningless and UNNECESSARY, I hated every moment of it. It was one of the things that ruined the drama for me. I was hoping for better development for Soo Kyeong, who was clearly a character with lost potential. Jin Sang could have had a much better development as well, he didn't return her feelings at any time, that was so clear to me. I HATE IT HERE.

Pretty Oh Hae Young and Tae Jin were okay for me, they were essential for the development and growth of the main characters. I also loved Oh Hae Young's mother and everything she did for her daughter, she is an admirable woman.

Also the use of alcohol to some extent was okay but there is a line that should not be crossed. I understand that it was used as a comic relief, but it was so exaggerated.

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama, it was a nice experience. Some of the conflicts were so real that they made me reflect on my life as well. In spite of everything, I do not recommend this drama for those who are starting in the world of k-dramas. I have this feeling that this drama is not for everyone.

its hard to come by a good comedy romance drama because it tend to be cliche and predictable. most of the time you can guess what would the characters say next or what they gonna do based on their personality/role and the situation. yet this drama overcome all of that. while the scene or situation might seem cliche but id often go "woah thats cool line" or "what a darn thing to do". this drama also managed to avoid useless filler and unnecessary fanservice scene. every scene count for the build up. tension and emotion. and while while it is a comedic drama it has some depth to its story. pretty rare.

there are also many memorable scene like the "drunken french" or "drunk/crazy dance"

"Another Oh Hae Young" tells the story of Oh Hae Young, a young woman who always felt very ordinary, just like her name, especially when compared to another Oh Hae Young, one who studied with her and had everything she ever wanted. Time passed and Ha Young was about to get married, but in a twist of fate, her fiancé broke up with her by saying one of the worst things possible, that he hated seeing her eat.

Do Kyung begins to have flashes of a woman he has never seen before and unexpectedly one day he meets her and this woman is Hae Young. The two become neighbors and Do Kyung realizes that his visions end up coming true.

After fighting a lot, Do Kyung and Hae Young end up falling in love with each other, the big problem is that there is a secret that Do Kyung never told Hae Young, that he is the reason why her fiancé called off the wedding. Do Kyung has always been in love with the other Hae Young, the popular girl, and when he heard that a woman with that same name was getting married, he thought it was her and ended up framing the groom to stop the wedding... but he did it to the wrong Hae Young. The scene where Hae Young finds out about this, her reaction, how devastated she was to discover that one of the worst moments of her life was because of that woman.

The relationship between Do Kyung and Hae Young is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in a drama. It's intense, passionate and sad at the same time, and that's the most interesting thing about them. This couple isn't just made up of joy and happy moments. They go through problems and heartbreaks. They reach the peak of this when Do Kyung has an accident and it seems like he's going to die... but he managed to change his future when he decided to go after Hae Young, when he realized that being with her, even for a short time, was better than spending his whole life without her. When he needed her the most, Do Kyung wasn't alone.

"If we could turn back time, I would ruin your wedding the same way. I would make you move next door and meet you that way again. I'm sorry, I'm very sorry. But I'm not sorry I ruined your wedding. This is how I truly feel. I got sick because I couldn't hug you".

I also can't forget Soo Kyung and Jin Sang, a surprising couple who steals the show several times, I never imagined that these two would become a couple. The elevator scene is incredible no matter how many times I watch it! HAHAHA'

It's a simply incredible drama, both in terms of the story, the romance and the soundtrack. "Like A Dream" is a wonderful song <3

O que dizer deste Dorama?! Confesso que quis assistir este KDrama porque vi um vídeo da cena de beijo fiquei louca para assistir! O Drama é super gostoso de assistir a personagem principal Hae Young tem uma personalidade incrível, ela é muito boa mesmo. É bem difícil achar uma personagem como ela em KDramas, geralmente as mocinhas são bobas/tolas/chatinhas/choronas esta não é assim! Ela não tem problema nenhum em demonstrar seus sentimentos e de gostar de verdade do mocinho, nada a abate e ela está sempre sorrindo. A maneira como ela enfrenta as adversidades que aparecem na trama é muito positiva. Achei bem incomum não ter um vilão que me fizesse ficar com muita raiva mesmo...sério, eu não fiquei assim com aquela raiva avassaladora do "vilão", isto talvez tenha acontecido pelo modo maravilhosamente positivo que eu citei antes de como a Oh Hae Young lida com as situações. Agora vamos a cena de beijo: É MARAVILHOSA! rsrsrsrs Este Drama é o pacote completo pra quem procura uma história fácil de assistir com um casal principal com excelente química, sem aquelas tribulações mirabolantes que destroem a vida dos personagens, mocinha maravilhosa e também vai te fazer dar umas boas risadas. AMEI!

Drama ini lucu banget sii karena si cowo harus bertemu dengan orang yang memiliki nama yang sama dengan orang yang dia kenal di masa lalu

Selain lucu, drama ini juga seru banget dan sangat romantis, akting pemainnya sangat bagus apalagi akting si seo hyun jin unnie yang emang keren banget
Aktingnya eric pun lumayan, aku baru tau dia gara" drama ini dan ternyata dia adalah idol
Chemistry pemeran utamanya dapet bgt
Oh ya ada beberapa scene dari drama ini yang kadang sering dibuat parodi sama variety show atau drama lain, itu salah satu bukti kalau drama ini memang cukup terkenal di kalangan pemirsa

Cerita pasangan second leadnya juga lucu sii hahaha tapi mungkin drama ini rating ceritanya agak dewasa hehe
ostnya juga sangat masuk dalam memori, bahkan sampe saat ini pun aku masih hafal dan sering dengerin

Un drama eccellente. Romantico senza essere stucchevole, personaggi e situazioni plausibili e coinvolgenti. 18 puntate mai un momento di noia. Un mix perfetto di allegria, dolore, amore, affetti. La coralità della storia dá materia per raccontare vite diverse: quelle complicate dei 'figli' e quelle dure ma piene di affetti dei 'genitori'. Attori in stato di grazia, tutti (il fantastico padre di lei!!). La protagonista su tutti con le sue insicurezze radicate nell'infanzia e la sua determinazione a superarle. Lui totalmente perturbante nelle sue difficoltà psicologiche e nella intensità dei suoi baci. Virile senza bisogno di mostrare fisico da palestra. Pochi attori ho visto così espressivi nel dolore e nei gesti/sguardi dell'amore che sono sempre il punto di forza delle più riuscite serie romantiche coreane. È infine proprio vero che la stagione 2014-2018 (circa) ha prodotto serie di drama dalla magia inarrivabile sia come intrecci sia come recitazione. Ho cominciato ha vederne da poco ma niente di paragonabile con le più reclamizzate serie del presente, sempre più ripetitive, centrate sul belloccio di turno e su una recitazione precisa ma di maniera.
Colonna sonora poco varia, ma orecchiabile e accogliente. Accompagna molti momenti della serie e ci si affeziona. Nonostante le 18 puntate potrebbe essere un drama da rivedere.

Review curtinha já que faz um bom tempo desde que assisti esse dorama. A história é bem diferente e tem muitas camadas, todos os personagens de certa forma estão conectados então o dorama não fica repetitivo, eu lembro de dar boas risadas com os personagens, as situações são podem ser bem trágicas mas de certa forma fica bem engraçado. Como todo dorama tem alguns momentos bem frustrantes por causa de mal entendidos e por causa de todo o drama e caos da história, mas o casal principal tem uma química boa e temos as histórias de vários personagens secundários também. Acho que só estou dando uma nota alta por lembrar de rir bastante desse dorama, mas acho que ele é realmente bom.
