As a result of watching the first Mischievous Kiss movie, without a doubt, I jumped onto this one as soon as it became available online. I'm going to repeat myself by saying that I've always been a massive fan of the manga, anime and live action adaptations of this story. Despite some of the disappointment in the main leads' acting skills, especially the mother's part in this movie (you have to agree that she made the whole romance between the two actually a thing and played a huge and active roll in the love story), I think they're doing a wonderful job so far. I especially like how cold Irie is portrayed since I've always imagined him being that way in the original manga. However, I enjoyed the first movie a lot better. Hopefully, we won't have to wait that long for the last movie because I'm all ready for that romantic stuff to happen!

Overall, it's a must-watch for all of you Itazura na Kiss franchise fans!

Since a pretty essential part of the story was cut out in the first scene, this movie was a bit different from what you might have watched in Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo 2.

Nothing really stood out in this movie for me. Like with the first, the acting was disappointing for me. The scenes that would've left me emotional from the drama version didn't affect me at all. At some point, I realized that I was only watching to keep the nostalgic feeling I had. It was really hard to connect to the characters. It seemed like the main actors had even less chemistry here than they did in the first movie.

I just watched this last night and already I can't remember too much about it. I definitely won't be rewatching this one.

The second movie of itazurana Kiss takes us all to join the two protagonists as they advance to their university studies. The compus days are following the same patern as the first movie, the boy doesn't have any interest in the girl, though he gives out some signs here and there, and the girl is totally in love with him. Surelly, the girl is one of the cutest characters in J dramas out there. She is fun and sweet and has many cute outfits to accompany her personality. The boy takes second lead in miscievous kiss part 2, as we mainly focus on the girl and what she does. But all in all, it was a fun movie.

Unfortunately, this movie didn't work for me. I didn't hate it, but the cuteness from the first film didn't carry over. I think I just don't like the college part of the Mischievous Kiss story. Naoki's behavior is offputting at this point, just like it was in the drama series. I'm hoping that at some point Japan will move past these almost cruel tsundere types of characters. I felt like I was watching "LDK" but without the charm of Kento Yamazaki. I feel that the actors in "Campus" weren't as well connected in the sequel as they were in the "High School" movie. Oh well, you can't win them all. I'll watch "The Proposal" but I'm not expecting much.

Don't romanticize toxic behaviors

I'll summarize the story without giving any spoilers: Imagine a kid who has a toy in the bottom of his trunk, a toy he doesn't like, doesn't care about, isn't interested in, doesn't value, and keeps throwing it around without caring if the toy breaks, because he doesn't give a damn. Until one day, when someone sees this toy and asks if they can keep it, take care of it, then the kid throws a tantrum and says he loves the toy and clings to it. But as soon as this person leaves, the kid kicks the toy into a corner. That's it for 3 movies. 🤢🤬

NOTE: There is a very cute boy in all 3 movies, who really loves her and treats her like a princess. I was rooting for him and not for the toxic jerk.😥

NOTE 2: This shouldn't be called a romance. Don't romanticize toxic behaviors. If you identify with this character, find a therapist.
