Both dramas heavily feature music and have people using their musical talents to form bands. I believe Entertainer is a better drama though because it features a main character who has been wrongfully accused of a crime and the angst of overcoming the challenges of being a "criminal" while trying to fulfill his dream of being in a band! Kang Min Hyuk stars in it and he is a K-pop idol/musician in the group CN Blue!

story is different. entertainer is assembling of band and trying to fight politics in entertainment business/ trying to become popular

The plot revolves around Honami's relationship with her late husband's teenage son who she is forced to take in. The show stars popular Kyozo Nagatsuka as the boy's lawyer and her romantic interest. The series also includes a lot of behind-the-scenes newsroom action and depicts the rivalry between the show's director and producer, who are locked in a constant debate over whether new and variety are, or should be, one and the same.
