When a Snail Falls in Love Episode 9

When Xu Xu and Ji Bai go back to the interrogation, Ye Qiao confesses to murdering Ye Yizi because of her jealousy towards Ye Zixi and having an affair with her husband. Ths confession deeply hurt Ji Bai and he goes out for another smoke where he agrees with Xu Xu to allow her to keep his lighter so she can light all his cigarettes that will allow her to keep in check on his emotional state especially during this hard time. When they reach the precinct Xu Xu goes over the evidence and finds something that doesn't match up. Xu Xu talks to Ye Qiao again to get a better detail of the timeline . Xu Xu secretly goes to the crime scene later on that next to investigate any more clues by re-enacting the scene. There she gets spooked by Ji Bai who had the same idea to go to the crime scene as well. When Yao Meng notices that Xu Xu isn't in their room she starts to remember certain strange details of the case and calls Zhao Han when she confirms her investigation.
