Love filled in the air, especially between the male and female lead.
The leads have natural cute chemistry. And I can say that Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik are one of the best on-screen and off screen chemistry couples in Korean drama. Their chemistry is the key factor that makes the huge contribution to the success of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.
The story of this drama balance both romance and thriller but actually few last episodes ( except episode 15 and 16) are quite weak. It took too long to catch the criminals.
The ending is quite satisfied and this drama is warm- hearted, funny and loving drama.
If you like romance and comedy dramas, this drama is worth watching.

cute and funny drama
i first watched this drama over two years ago and i still love watching it as of now especially during quarantine. it’s a really cute drama that anyone can enjoy and it’s also really funny which was a big plus for me. if you’re thinking about watching it i definitely recommend you do so. some parts may be exaggerated but that’s what makes this drama funny and what made me watch it over and over again. the cast in general was also amazing i loved seeing everyone and did not get disappointed while watching them act.Was this review helpful to you?

A soild good drama
When i started watching i put the drama on hold for like a year than i came back and i wished i watched it sooner. The reason why i didnt watch it sooner is because of unrealistic and not very good quality of the fight where FL beats gangsters.
So yes the reason is boring.
Anyways i really like the story cuz its uniqe and its good from start to end.
I must say the cast was picked so well. They had this good energy and the chemistry between them was amazing.
FL and ML gave me butterflies many many times the acting was so good. Also i am happy they are (were idk) dating in real life cuz their personalities match so well.
Also there was a second lead sydrome of police officer he did a really good job too.
Talking about the OST the music was great too. If i listen to it now i recall all those funny sad moments.
Talking about sad scenes they are a few and they brought my tears out.
The ending is also very nice.
I recommend the drama and i really liked it.

It’s a very good show
I started watching without expectations and I loved! I laughed so many times and was so frustrated to with some characters.First off all, I loved the acting. I think every actor played very well, especially the the kidnapper. The duality of the protagonists was amazing and I loved that was hard to get the kidnapper until the end.
The visual effects was very funny and was a perfect match with the comedy.
All I can say is tha the show is very good beucause bring so many happy times and smiles.

A perfect romcom drama
To be honest, I didn't had this expectation from this drama but I loved it the story was simple but it was very good at gave a peace to my heart the acting was so cute the story was also too cute the story could be a little bit messy because it had cuteness romcom little bit of thriller. I was just because of park hyungsik and I wasn't disappointed.I can still feel the spark of this drama.I remember me being all red and throwing my legs. Its such a cute drama. if you are a rom com lover, you should definitely watch itWas this review helpful to you?

IN A DILEMMA BUT YOU STILL LOVE IT
You know when you're in a relationship with somebody that's stupid but you still love the person anyway plus all the stupidity and all? Well this drama is like that, the plot is so ridiculous and unnecessary but you still love it and that was my dilemma. I just watched it because I started it and needed to see the ending, so many unnecessary and ridiculous scenes which doesn't go well with the drama at all, I gave it a 10 overall because I love both PARKs and the laughter the gangsters gave to me, they did well especially PHS. Every other thing is just so ridiculous and unnecessary, now I'm not saying the drama is bad just that it's so ridiculous but you still have to watch it because of how light it is. The drama also articulated how useless the police are both in fiction and nonfiction. Second male lead and the love triangle was unnecessary (another reason why I say somethings in the drama are unnecessary.FYI PARK HYUNG-SHIK IS A GREAT KISSER

There were just fragments of interesting scenes..
I think what went wrong here is that the production tried real hard to merge various genres equally. I mean, they tried putting in the comedy part which I think doesn't went accordingly to the story. Yes, it would be much better with the comedy but it shouldn't be overdone.
Nonetheless, the actors are really commendable. Park Bo Young gave a really awesome acting here. She could pass into melo. The scene in somewhere about episode 14, WOAH. Park Hyun Sik also did a good job. I'm just kind of distracted when he acts kind of gayish (maybe because he's friends with KwangHee, lol). Lastly, I think Ji Soo could also pass as An Min Hyuk! He's really good and got great bod, hotter than Clara LOL.
Oh, and I can't help but notice Bong Soon's mom's pretty face. OH OH OH, and Jang Mi Kwan!! I looked into him and it's said that this is really his first project. WOW, he could go real far with his acting. I wasn't scared much as the drama has a weak storyline but his acting is really commendable.
Finally, what's really good about this drama is their OST! SUPER POWER GIRL!!
A piece of advice (well, it goes differently to different people), don't expect much from this drama. It's good but not as much as it is getting attention.

Good for k-drama beginners (it def was for me)
Because of the powers that Bong-Soon has in the story, the narrative that women are weaker gets flipped entirely throughout the whole show. While she does get taken care of eventually- she is a pretty well-rounded character, smart, kind, and strong. She can take care of herself essentially. The male lead is one of my favorites that I have seen in K-Dramas so far, he is just the right amount of slay. I have seen almost 200 dramas, this one still ranks in my top 10 list, very warm and heartfelt. The soundtrack is really good too.
(old review I wrote lol)
Like— the traditional gender roles FLIP in the most amazing Olympic gymnast way.
Not only does the male lead have a secure masculinity- HE IS GORGEOUS and makes bromance jokes toward the second male lead, which is SO funny and made it interesting.
DON’T EVEN get me started on the female lead.
She is an elegant beast, strong and beautiful.

I don't get it?!
So this show is just so basic. I don't get why people love this. In fact, I suddenly get why people were shocked that Hyung Sik could act in Happiness! The only good thing about this show is the running joke that the main character is a really tiny girl who beats up big bad gangster guys. The romance is so...ew! It's just...what is that?! It was cringe, it was inappropriate, actually. Dating your boss is not it and not only that, the show has so many examples of why it's unethical within the plot but it's either used as melodrama or cute factor...it was neither. It was just...HR material for a lawsuit. Their chemistry is off. Bickering for the sake of bickering is not a dynamic. People who are constantly arguing are not compatible in secret. Also, why did she get away with being so sassy to her employer from the get-go? Romance didn't hit at all. If this was an investigation buddy show it would make more sense. I was so bored during the overly childish romantic scenes that I was constantly distracted. Or rather, I preferred watching paint dry than to sit through one more forced aegyo scene....ugh!
The gay jokes were only occasionally funny but then it got old very quickly and I don't see how most of it could pass now. Most of this show aged like milk left out of the fridge! The poop jokes and all these lowkey-lewd stuff with the gang were just weird and bizarre and I don't understand why they kept going on for so long. They were good for one or two plot B situation but it just never ended. It became so uncomfortable during the second half of the show.
And I'm wondering if this show is the prototype of the "murderer/serial killer in romcom" trope of kdramaland? Because if it is, I'll redact another point from this. This naturally plays into every one of the cliches of that trope but slightly better because at least a show about a super strong girl having a villainous evil guy for her to overcome makes sense. Overall though, none of the plots were that good. The beginning was funny so I was laughing and watching but just as I got hooked, it got boring. Incidentally, that was when the "romance" started.
Seriously this show ruined Hyung Sik for me! What was that acting? Park Bo Young gets away with it. Because she is small and cute and it wasn't too jarring for her to act like a petulant child. Everyone was a mess though.
Anyway, the more I see of the most watched shows of kdramaland, the less it makes sense...seriously, why?!?! What did you al see in this?!
