Both movies have a lgbt theme. No Regrets with gay prostitution, while Night Flight deals with bullying. They're both beautiful movies.

Both stories have protagonists who are sex workers. They have a grungy and romantic element to their stories as well.

Both these films seem to want to portray the importance of not letting love escape your grasp. They both show a closeted gay man falling deeply in love with another dude.

Both are lgbtq+ movies that feel sincere. One character does sex work, one character is closeted, one characters meets an unfortunate fate... the relationship feels alittle push and pull in both (in egoist in the beginning at least).
