In this Lunar New Year comedy, Fong Fong (Cecilia Cheung) is a shopaholic who can't control her shopping fanaticism, which leaves her unemployed and in debt. Desperate for help, Fong Fong seeks help from a psychologist, LI Gan Yan (Ching Wan Lau). Gan Yan tries to cure Fong Fong and hires her as an assistant. Slowly, they find out that they have feelings for each other. However, one day Fong Fong bumps into HO Kong Fu ([[Jordan Chan]), a weird millionaire who is very calculative when it comes to spending money, but also a shopaholic. This leads to a triangle relationship which troubles Fong Fong. Edit Translation

Confusing story but with enjoyable to watch actors.
Getting into the movie can be extremly confusing as it starts off giving little information to the watcher. Multiple times along the storyline the plot will change/alter slightly and the watcher has to pay close attention to follow along or else you will feel lost. The weak story is held up by the actors who make it still a relatively good HK comedy if you are really trying to find something to enjoy in downtime. The age of the movie does show a bit through the production and set/prop pieces, but I think it still held up well for an alright watching experience.Was this review helpful to you?
