good actors, zero chemistry
Beside the handsome ML, who conveys a lot of energy and does a good job in carrying the show, there is not much to see here. Too many side actions, too many unnecessary side characters that get free screen time, too many boring faces, too long a series... I seriously dont get why everybody in this drama praises the looks of the SML, he is just someone in the crowd in my humble opinion.The FL has no chemistry with the ML whatsoever, though i admired her in other productions.
The plot is nothing new, just the usual tropes: traumatic cold eccentric ML falling for the energetic FL, rich man/ poor woman - the ML pays for the FL's rent and so we get the "girl in debt trope" etc etc. The thing about these tropes is: if you have nothing new to add, just make sure you get'em right! This is hardly the case here...
Also, chinese dramas have this bad habit of putting up a fashion show - with or without a sense of style, most characters keep changing innumerable outfits - flashy more than once - even the supposedly "poor" ones!
I watch it but keep skipping all the dull parts - which accounts for 3/4 of the drama... maybe more?

Why do people still like this awful guys in dramas?
Just another drama with a jerk ML. I gotta say, I have seen worse guys than him, but it is still horrible. I gave it a chance because of the high rating, and the actors, but really do not watch it. He made a lot of mistakes and nobody cares. When they went to America, he did not show up for the shootings. It was all his fault. HE threw away his phone when the FL really tried to know where he would go and would not tell her at all. She really tried and guess what. He went to jail and when he got out, he blamed her?????????????? WHAT. She also was not mad, I would lose my temper so bad, but how the hell would she not! This would not be that bad if he recognized his mistake and apologized, but he did not. Frankly, he never says sorry about anything. In another episode, he broke her gift for somebody and said that she deserves it. No man, screw him. I do not get why people, especially woman still like jerks.Was this review helpful to you?

Waouh !!!
Waouh !!! j'ai passé un excellent moment (long moment 44 épisodes), et franchement quelques épisodes de plus ne m'auraient pas dérangés. Quand on s'installe dans une belle histoire comme ça, on n'a plus envie de bouger.Il y a eut les montagnes russes, rire, pleurs, stress, love story, émotion, cris de joie (pour ma part lol).
Enfin une FL de caractère, et surtout qui le garde jusqu'à la fin. Wu Qian (Janice Wu) est une formidable actrice, son jeu est parfait. Son personnage ne se laisse pas faire, a la tête sur les épaules, crédible jusqu'au bout.
Huang Zi Tao est formidable aussi dans son rôle, enfant gâté, capricieux, adorable, joueur, toute une palette pour faire craquer. héhé ! Et puis sa facette star de la chanson "the brightest" lui sied comme un gant bien sûr.
Petit bémol, je me serais passé bien sûr du père, mais bon il faut un peu de difficulté pour faire un beau drama.
Par contre j'ai trouvé le personnage de Yu Zi Rui un peu mou, j'avais envie de le secouer. Il pourrait passer comme un rôle romantique...chacun sa vision du romantisme. Niu Jung Feng joue parfaitement ce rôle.
....Et la meilleure amie.... avec un capacité émotionnelle qui varie entre le +18 ans (quand elle se jette/se donne au pauvre Yu Zi Rui qui n'a rien demandé ou les caprices d'une gamine de 13/14 ans parce qu'il aime son amie et pas elle, bouderie, etc....
Bien sûr il y a des lacunes, où sont passées les fans hystériques ? Elles disparaissent d'un épisode à l'autre. Zheng Bo Xu est mis au placard, mais pas un mot, pas un geste de protestation de leurs parts ? un peu bizarre quand on voit leurs comportements du début. L'enlèvement qui aurait pu être mieux étudié, etc...
Aïe je critique mais ceci n'enlève rien à la qualité général du drama. Ce que je demande c'est de passer un bon moment et le pari est réussi. J'ai même passé une nuit blanche pour le finir tellement j'étais passionnée.
IL entre dans mon top 3 C-Dramas.

A voir absolutment pour ZTao
One of my BEST CDrama of all time ! Attention, très addictif ! Il est captivant dès le 1e épisode, et vous y restez scotchés jusqu'au dernier, malgré les 44 épisodes et les nuits blanches ... Supers acteurs : on adhère complètement au couple principal qu'on a tellement envie de voir ensemble, avec une réelle complicité et alchimie. Les OST sont excellentes (ce qui est une obligation vu le casting et le milieu décrit : celui de l'entertainement.). Le tout est bien construit, bien traité, sans les clichés habituels sur les beaux gosses arrogants et les jeunes femmes mignonnes et idiotes / naïves.Bref, ce drama, c'est que du bonheur.
C'est visiblement Z Tao qui a inspiré le personnage du ML et depuis, je suis devenue une fan inconditionnelle...

Non ce la posso fare...
Ho iniziato questo drama per alternarlo con un altro un po' più pesante. Le aspettative erano raso terra e questo mi ha permesso di notare una storia carina e alcune questioni interessanti che vengono trattate fin dai primi episodi. Quindi non se non è brutto, perchè lo abbandono?Perché è TROPPO lento.
Lento da far schifo.
Talmente tanto lento da far venire il latte alle ginocchia.
Le sequenze non hanno un buon ritmo, e i passaggi temporali sembrano fatti con powerpoint. Peccato, ma con questo ritmo non ce la posso proprio fare... Mi cascano davvero le braccia. Quarantacinque minuti sembrano due ore.
