Somebody Move Me
"Moving" isn't just another superhero drama; it's a groundbreaking masterpiece that redefines the genre. From its intricate plot structure to its stellar cast, every aspect of this Kdrama captivates and astonishes. At first glance, "Moving" may seem like just another recycled drama, but it quickly proves otherwise. The way the story unfolds, starting with the students' perspectives and gradually revealing the parents' history, is a stroke of genius. Each character, whether major or minor, possesses depth and complexity, contributing to the rich tapestry of the narrative. And the introduction of new characters is seamless, adding layers to an already compelling story.
What truly sets "Moving" apart is its star-studded cast. From seasoned icons like Han Hyo Joo, Ryu Seung Ryong, Zo In Sung, and Cha Tae Hyun to breakout talents like Lee Jung Ha, Go Youn Jung, and Kim Do Hoon, every actor delivers a mesmerising performance. Han Hyo Joo shines, as always, in her role as a mother, proving her versatility once again. And the rest of the cast follows suit, immersing themselves completely in their characters and leaving viewers in awe of their talent.
But "Moving" isn't just about the performances; it's a visual and auditory feast. The cinematography is breathtaking, capturing every moment with precision and beauty. And the music, especially the BGM, adds another layer of emotion and depth to the story.
In the end, "Moving" isn't just a drama; it's an experience. It's the kind of show that keeps you on the edge of your seat, eagerly anticipating each twist and turn. And even after it's over, it stays with you, begging to be rewatched again and again. With its flawless execution and unforgettable performances, "Moving" is easily a 10/10 masterpiece that sets a new standard for television dramas. Binge watching it twice is enough to justify this review. I’ll watch it a third time to confirm but I’m certain the result will be exactly the same. Watch it and challenge me to an opposing review.

Remember the TV series "HEROES"
The TV series Heroes are individual with superhuman talent although this is quite a unique story in a sense that they want to dissect every origin of the character but the 20 episode were not able to provide the true climax of the series and probably there's gonna be a sequel or season 2. This is my first time doing reviews because of Han Hyo Joo, I'm a big fan, I did watched her other TV series, the producer of Jason Bourne. "Treadstone" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaAa_Pw6m-M) and she really kicked a**. The cast are great and most likely another big names in the industry will collaborate for the next season... if ever. Was this review helpful to you?
One of those gems.
One of those Kdramas everyone should have watched. Love Bong Seok and Hui Soo story, and also the story of their parents. This drama also Introduced me to Go Young Jung and now she's one of my favorites, not to mention Han Yoo Joo is also here. Actors is star studded, acting is great. Du Sik is still the man. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful to you?
The Unusual Thriller
May I dare say Moving is undoubtedly one of the best dramas of 2023!Hands down to every single person, from the cast to the production staff...SALUTE!!
I rather started late watching the series, after 17 episodes came out in two weeks. But the show got me so glued to it that I ended watching the released 17 episodes in a few hours of matter, that how much the intriguing the show was. I generally ain't a fan of superpower or superhero genre. But yah, here I am waiting impatiently for another season.
The biggest CLAP deserves Kim Feel, the OG writer of the manga series. The cast? OUTSTANDING!! With a star-studded cast like Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, Ryoo Seung Ryong, Kim Sung Kyun, Cha Tae Hyun in the parents generation and the super talented newbies cast could the drama have gone wrong? This was the BESTEST cast ever for a top-notch drama like that. Apart from the main casts, the antagonists they have given their 10000000% to indulge in the roles. The cinematography, use of proper CGI effects, the BGMs everything was so just perfect.
Also the storyline and it's flow was so DAMN GOOD! Every single character getting their individual story narrated, their entanglements showed in the most simplest way. I absolutely loved even how the antagonists had their story narrated and how they ended up where they were. Such good storytelling.
The kids and the parents relationship was the main objective right? Did they fail? NO....absolute win.
And last but not the least, the way the Northern Antagonists were represented, clap clap clap! For once they were not the bad guys and instead victims to the systems who sacrifices the innocent lives. As Park Hee Son said in the final episode, "The people are innocent. Those who force sacrifices are to blame."
So I loved the whole thing. HHJ posted the poster on her IG captioning the post "I'm truly proud of this show. Go Moving"...Even I as an admirer of the whole cast would sincerely say "I am truly proud of this show!"

Unique Action Story
Impressive storyline, I must say! This is probably the first show I've ever watch that has no-nonsense plot, no fillers just story. The theme, although seems cliche, is actually new and fresh. The cast is packed with star talents. They can't go wrong on the potrayals; they all fit their own characters. There are a lot of characters, and they're introduced thoroughly one by one. The introduction style with back and forth timeline is really smooth, and every past story matters and impactful to the present story. Hence even with 20 episodes, I still feel it's not enough as more explorations still needed here and there. As an action show you'll expect this to be fast-paced. However the pace is extremely slow, and nearly painful and confusing at the beginning (maybe that's why Disney dropped 5 first episodes altogether). I believe several people lost faith and drop this show after 5 episodes.
Even though it has an impressive storyline, doesn't mean it's flawless. There are a lot of plot armors in this show. People with superpowers are prone to death when being thrown from height, except if their ability is immortal. However, Kim Bong Seok and Lee Jae Man survive this situation multiple times. Kim Du Sik somehow survives every bullets from the first North Korean infiltration only by flying, even though the North Koreans surround him and they have AK-47 in their hands. During Jang Ju Won's Russia operation, it is weird that it takes so long for the force to shoot Ju Won after being dropped from the sky.
There are a lot of unhinged ending on this show, especially why Bong Seok decides to disappear from the school after the incident. Also the reason Frank stops doing his mission also needs explanation, so second season is a must.

WHAT A DRAAMAAAA
This drama exceeded my expectations in many ways, and having Jo Insung in the cast was a guarantee of quality from the start. His presence added a layer of excellence to the entire show.I must admit that I didn't connect with the children's storyline as much as I had hoped. At times, it felt a bit too cloying and relied on clichés that I've seen before in similar dramas. However, this was a minor setback considering the depth and complexity of the adult characters' stories.
The various narratives involving the adults were emotionally powerful, with Joo Won's story being particularly heart-wrenching. I found myself shedding tears as I watched these characters navigate their challenges and personal growth.
One aspect I didn't appreciate was the open-ended ending. While it might hint at the possibility of a new season(I hope no!), I personally won't be tuning in for it. For me, the magic of this drama lies in the seniors' performances, and I believe that their stories have been beautifully told and don't necessarily need continuation.
Despite some violence and numerous sci-fi elements, this drama truly deserves the praise it has received. It's a solid 10, but it's also one of those shows that I won't rewatch in the future. The first viewing was a truly special experience, and it's one that I believe can't be replicated. Overall, a remarkable drama that tugged at my heartstrings and left a lasting impression

What a thrill ride
A story of gifted people that were forced to serve for the sake of their country. The story is jam-packed with action and heartwarming moments, even for the villains. Everyone has someone or something to protect, and it drives us to find the power to do so. Everyone did an impressive job, and I am too biased for Jo In Sung and Hyo Joo, but they really did a great job here. So proud. But Ryu Seung Ryong really stole the spotlight. He is our gentle giant. He was truly unique. Love how gentle he is but really a badass in the war field.
One of the highlights also is knowing the side of the villain. Everyone has their own reason. It's just that in a war, there's really no winner. At the end, all that remains is a pile of dead and suffering.
Overall it's like watching a movie. Love every bit of it. It is definitely a must-watch.

Moving: A Must-Watch for Fans of Fantasy and Action K-Dramas
Moving is a new K-drama on Disney+ that takes a fresh and exciting look at the superhero genre. The series follows a group of retired superheroes and their children, who are now trying to live normal lives. However, when their past comes back to haunt them, they must once again use their powers to protect the people they love. One of the things that sets Moving apart from other superhero stories is its focus on family. The series explores the complex relationships between parents and children, as well as the challenges of living with extraordinary abilities. The characters are all well-developed and relatable, and their relationships with each other are one of the highlights of the show.
Moving also features some of the best action sequences ever seen in a K-drama. The fight choreography is innovative and exciting, and the CGI is top-notch. The action scenes are also well-integrated into the story, and they never feel gratuitous.
Overall, Moving is a superb K-drama that is sure to appeal to fans of fantasy, action, and family dramas. The acting is superb, the action is extraordinary, and the story is compelling. If you're looking for a new K-drama to watch, I highly recommend Moving.
Opinion:
I completely agree with your opinion that Moving is a very good fantasy K-drama. It is one of the most exciting and well-made K-dramas I have ever seen. The story is interesting, the acting is OMG, and the action is extraordinary. I highly recommend Moving to anyone looking for a new and exciting K-drama to watch.

K-drama of the year
The script is so well written that it doesn't give you a moment to relax, the cast is exceptional at their job. You're most likely to remember the characters for life.A fantasy supernatural drama but touching some of the very real dilemmas in the world. I was most impressed with the way even the supposedly villains have a back story and you'd rather not hate them but feel bad for them.
It's witty, it's emotional, it's romantic, it's very human. Maybe that is the crux of it, super humans are also humans at the end of the day.

Moving Lives Up to Its Title
After putting this on hold for a year, I finally got around to watching it. I regret not completing this sooner!I have so much to say about this drama! First of all, it was so good I just couldn't stop watching. Before I knew it, I had already reached the last episode and was hoping for more. Moving is a rare gem, and I'm glad that I chose to watch it. It's story is unique and the comedy was never off. The plot and sub-plots were great and kept me hooked. Many of the scenes left a big impact on me. Everything is just so perfect.
The way the characters were written is definitely my favorite part about the whole thing. The characters are so well-written and in-depth that you're able to understand each person. The good and the bad, I was able to feel for the characters. I was able to understand how they became who they are because it showed us how each character had a story and had reasons. Bonus: the cast was so perfect for this. Personally, Juwon became my favorite character, and I think Ryu Seungryong was a fantastic match for him. (His "theme song" always had me hyped!)
Despite the silly CGI moments and the insane amount of violence, I really enjoyed it. Just like the title says, moving is very "moving." I read somewhere that Moving was about unconditional love; I couldn't agree more.
I'm so glad they announced a season 2 with the same writer (also glad they were able to get a higher budget!). I hope it'll be just as good or even better. I can't wait for more!

A true masterpiece!
I know I'm late, but not because this is my first watch but this is actually the 3rd rewatch of this masterpiece named Moving. i wrote a similar review on other websites and this my first review on this platform.Well, if you're planning to watch Moving and you're kinda stuck on whether you do it or not, you're missing a lot.
I started Moving back when it was airing and when i finished it and watched other series, i felt like only few that came up close or at the same level as this series, and not only that, but this is one of the few series that i gave a 10/10 rating. (you can see on my page).
So, for the story, it was great.
It started slow though, back when i was watching i had a weird feeling that I'm watching a melodrama series, no action, no anything but when i gave it sometime, it got better and better.
This is a story about superheroes, it shouldn't be this deep, right? but Moving is full of drama and emotional stories. The backstories of characters are just exceptional, you'll find yourself empathising even with villains, something as i said, you don't usually see in superheroes movies or dramas.
For acting, it was just as great. I mean, just look at the cast, no need to say more.
The music, the fights, the production were all top-tier stuff as well.
So, when it's all set and done, a 10/10 is really well deserving.
i just hope that Season 2, which i don't when will it come, be this good and come quick as well lol.

Pleasantly surprised
I’ve been in a kdrama slump for so long and I’ve pretty much given up on them so I started with very little expectations. I cannot believe that they managed to make me be attached to every single character in the series.Saw that it got renewed for another season which is surprising aince the budget must’ve been so insane for this. Not only did they cast a bunch of known actors, there’s a lot CGI (though it can be a bit bad at times) and sets.
Anyways all the technical stuff aside, the story is definitely what I loved the most but there are some parts where I felt like they didn’t address enough though:
— The Lightning Hero (I’m bad with names) literally wrecked two buses (1 when he was chasing frank, another 1 when he went in the school to help bongseok) and violated a bunch of traffic laws, how is he still not fired or at least reprimanded from his job? I guess it happened off-screen but why did they not show it?
— What happened with Bang Kisoo? Why did the sub teacher have to do that to him? Will this be addressed later on or did they forget this plot (hopefully not)?
Things that I’m excited about and hopefully get addressed in the next season:
— The whole end credits scene.
** With the change of the head of NIS, I think Jaeman’s criminal history is not going to be erased and NIS would definitely be more brutal about how they handle things because there’s no way that guy will compromise and would accept if things doesn’t go his way, Mr. Min might’ve been a big POS but I bet that new head will be much worse.
** Frank still being alive. I had a hunch that he must’ve been alive but when I saw Gyongpo did not get his eye back and it’s very much possible to not get certain body parts back, I thought that it’s possible he’s actually dead but alas he is alive and maybe that mean his regenerative powers are much more powerful than Gyeongpo’s. He’ll probably be an ally at some point since when he killed more and more people (especially that hair salon lady), he felt guilty and more sympathetic to his victims.
** ABCDEF. Seeing that Frank was the last person to finish the test must mean that he probably was the weakest out of the bunch. So they’re probably probably going to be strong af and I’m hyped to see their powers.
— The rat investigator dying. I bet he investigated too close to the sun and find out something he shouldn’t have, the question is what did he find out that he has to be killed?
— Kim Dooshik. Obviously he had the clapper’s treatment in North Korea but I think they’ll get more in depth in later episodes.
— Timestopper student. I mean what? This is so OP. He apparently transferred, so is he still an agent in South Korea? Or were they recruited by North Korea (doubt since it seemed like they sent every single one to get the trainees in the South) or US? Or did no one know that this student had that power? I’m just imagining it ain’t no way they’ll be able to defeat this guy.
WHAT A SERIES. I am so excited and hopefully the next season will be good!!
