Taiwanese series, the side couple is step-bro's who are trying to deal with their mutual attraction, and there are some familiar faces you may recognize...
Both dramas are about high-school volleyball teams. Both are BL but its a hint of BL in SPIKE .. you can feel the sexual tension. If you like HIStory, you will like SPIKE. Personally i preffered SPIKE.
Both are about volleyball. No BL in Thumping Spike but still an enjoyable watch. If you liked HIStory because of the sporting aspect, you should enjoy thumping spike
The second part to Thumping Spike. The story is different than the first one but still about volleyball teams. I preferred the second over the first. Again no BL so don't watch if wanting that, just purely for volleyball. Enjoyable watch.
From the same HIStory series so a bit of a similar thread is expected between series. The similarity between the two series is when two step-brother relationship grows beyond the familial and buds into something more.
Both shows have the same screenwriter which explains the similar sense of humor, similar types of characters and overall similar atmosphere. Both are short, lightweight dramas in a school setting with a cute romance.
Both set in a school / college setting dealing with the emotions and situations of lgbt relationships. In both, the actors have a great chemistry and a story you want to keep following.
If you're a fan of BL series and don't hate Chinese, it's a good choice!
HIStory2: Boundary Crossing is lovely series, also set during school days! Have a lot of jokes and funny moments.
Main actors also have good chemistry!
Both are taiwanese romance dramas with a focus on two mlm relationships. The characters of the main couple dislike eachother at first but soon get closer. Both dramas arent all that similar but i personally enjoyed them and im sure other have and will ad well!
