Mr.Lee Make Me Gay
It's hard to find a man with this spec. it's what separates fiction from reality. The drama itself depicts this conflict very well, perhaps in the midst of a civilization haunted by fear and discrimination against cancer patients. We all know every life is precious, we need to add a shark into our tank. and viewers can learn from FL the importance of that. We can also mourn the loss with a sense of relief after crying, even though they're not the main characters. A portrait of life that, although slightly dramatized, still provides lessons
Note: I totally fell in love when mr. lee got out from the rented sports car, even my expression was as stunned as FL's at that time 😲

This one touched your heart and showed you that love is possible in the most unlikely place and with the most unexpected person. This is one of those that gives you hope for love. It shows you that love can truly conquer all, if you just have a little faith in it.
I'm sorry, I'm a hopeless romantic! That was really mushy and now that I've said that, I can review the drama. Great chemistry! The cast was awesome. My favorite is Uhm Ki Joon's character (Chae Eun Suk). He was such a refreshing reminder that love comes in all forms. i half wanted Kim Sun Ah's character to end up with him. A must see... again and again and again... :)

you can't expect anyhting in this drama and you would find yourself addicted to it from the first episode, you won't be able to stop watching not just because of cliffhangers but you won't be able to get enough or bored of the chemistry betwwen lee dong wook and kim sun ah nor you would be able to sit a minute wondering what will happen between them or how would the ending turn out , you would find yourself worrying about kim sun ah as if it was a close friend for you, you would feel happiness, sadness, and worriness in every episode, you will laugh but you will also cry your eyes out so be ready for a box of tissues
I would say that every actor portrayed his character brilliantly, there was no fault with the acting, lee dong wook and Kim sun ah nailed it especially that Kim sun ah's role was a hard one and I don't think that just anybody can do this role that well
the story was very well written and the plots were perfectly made you won't think that there are cliches and the writers produced a totally non cheesy romance but the exact opposite I actually waited for every romance scene and enjoyed it to the fullest , the kisses were something else they weren' t just normal kisses every kiss was unique and had a different feeling you would wish to be the one kissed instead, hahahahaaaa, the tango scenes were also amazing I actually happened to love tango after watching ths drama , the relation between every character had a meaning and the character developments was excellent not only the lead characters were the one devolped but seriously every character changed and devolped bit by bit and you would be able to notice it easily, the story was nothing like any kdrama story it's one of a kind , you won't get bored for even a second , actully you'll find yourself crying whenever they cry, laughing whenever they laugh, getting angry if you saw them sad or broken or angry, you would really feel like this drama has become part of your life that you don't know how you'll complete your life without it , you would feel great emptiness once you finish the drama , seriously i'm warning you it's addictive well i started with 2 episodes than 3 than it devolped to 8 and then I finished the last 3 episode one shot it's been a vey very long time since I've watched a drama in such a short time or maybe it's been a long time since I've found such an amusing, perfect and addicting drama
maybe the comedy in this drama won't be that much but still, you would find yourself smiling like a fool in a cute and romantic scene or whenever you see our lee Yeon Jae (Kim sun ah ) happy and strong and defending herself and her pride
i'm pretty sure your heart would beat very fast with every episode and i'm also sure you would need a huge box of tissues beside you in every episode
now the music is also addictive I've been listening to it since I've finished the drama it really fitted the drama and every song and music was played in the right time, I don't think there was anything wrong with music actually it's one of the best osts ever
soooo, i guess after all of that you would be thinking of watching it , right ?? believe me you won't regret it instead your drama list would be missing a great deal and you would be wasting your time and you'll regret not watching this drama IT REALLY IS AWESOME ..... A GREAT BLOCKBUSTER TO BE HONEST !!!! i don't think you would ever be able to forget it and believe me you may end up crying after the drama is finished just because you won't be seeing it again just as it happened with me , i finished the last episode and just cried and i feel like rewatching it again yeah i don't mind rewatching it a 1000 of times
please give it a try you'll love it for sure !!

Overall, I think the writer, actors and director did a good job of bringing this story to the screen. They treated the heavy subject matter with respect and honestly, which truly, is the only way you can treat it, and that's not to say there wasn't any levity in the show, because in life, no matter what you're going through, there will always be those moments of levity or brightness. But for me, it was just too heart wrenching and a little bit close to home. I don't deal well with that type of drama, because generally I watch to escape reality, not to be immersed into it.
Lee Dong Wook was hot, if a little stiff - I kept being reminded of his role in Goblin which I had watched first and where I thought he was just delightful. The tango scenes were hot. There should have been much more tango and less... dying. Kim Sun Ah was fantastic in her role, and the character really did come into her own. As for the ending... honestly, I was expecting it to be a lot more depressing than it was, so I was satisfied with what they did with it.

The story had amazing flow throughout. I tend to watch dramas on increased speed if it starts to feel slow, but not once did I speed it up at all! The love-story between the ML and FL made sense, you could feel the fact that these characters were falling for each other. Outside of the main leads all other characters didn't magically change to fit the story, everything felt right and natural.
The acting was spot on Lee Dong Wook is a KDrama actor that I truly admire, and his work in this drama was no different, my first time watching this I felt that the FL was too whiny, but now I felt that EVERY SINGLE TIME she got emotional it was heartfelt she TRULY transformed into her character. All other actors did phenomenal in their roles as well, there wasn't a single weak link in the cast!
I typically don't pay attention to music in dramas, but once again this drama blew me away with it's perfect ballads and songs that were meaningful, yet also pleasant to listen to.
Rewatch Value is a 10/10 for me, because I literally just Re-Watched it, coming from someone that has over 100 dramas/movies in her "Plan to Watch" list that's pretty darn special!
All in all this drama was a delight to watch, just keep in mind that it's pretty heavy so go into it prepared to shed some tears. :)

I still don't understand the title
This kdrama showed me a lot of the things I missed about the industry: real people - real skin, pores, skin texture, beard stubble, beautiful and healthy, sun kissed golden skin; people throwing liquids at the FL; a hopelessly in love ML; a healthy dose of nonsense; the nonsense ring tones and a ridiculous keyboard tapping sounds; people looking sad and depressed, saying nothing for long periods of time, looking longingly at their surroundings. It was fun and depressing, with a little sprinkle of nonsense and hope. Even if it was annoying at times, it was nice to see real people and a story that takes its time. The state of recent kdramas has me longing for simpler times and I guess that's why I watched this one.
Even if the beauty standards aren't as strict as today, they're still equating glasses and curly hair with ugliness, but I guess that's still universal, unfortunately. In this drama we see superficial "improvement" or more topical and stylistic ones, instead of the permanent ones we're seeing in today's kdramas. Most of today's kdramas seem like an advertising to the plastic surgery and cosmetics industry. It feels like they're telling us to apply new paint to an imperfect house because what matters is what we see on the outside. Anyway, this kdrama was refreshing because it was an escape of what the kdrama world is largely becoming.
It has been puzzling me for a while how there are so many dramas that deal with cancer. It's a very specific trope to KDramas, which is probably something that is very present in Korean society. Tropes and stereotypes exist for a reason. They might be reductive but are usually indicative of at least a trend. I found out not long ago that there is a correlation between the presence of military bases and the increase in cancer diagnosis. Correlation might not be causation but the probability of causation is very high.
I'll leave a few articles here that might bring light on this:
https://gijn.org/stories/investigating-toxic-military-bases-and-their-links-to-cancer/
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/unpublished-study-finds-elevated-cancer-rates-us-military-base-2023-11-10/
https://www.civilianexposure.org/military-bases-are-full-of-cancer-causing-compounds/
Besides being the highest polluter in the planet, the US military is poisoning the people around the world. They have 800+ military bases all over the globe and these are the ones they have in South Korea, they're a lot for such a small country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_Army_installations_in_South_Korea
It doesn't matter that many of them are closed, the contamination remains in the soil. The uncountable amount of cancer patients we see in KDramas could be linked to that, since, in some way or another, kdramas reflect Korean reality. Maybe that would be something interesting to talk about in a kdrama but with such levels of pro-US propaganda I doubt anyone will ever do that.

Hope and transformation n times of heartbreak
What a lovely drama full of hope and transformation n times of heartbreak! The ending is sweetly positive and left me with a good feeling. After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a tear-jerker but it brought me smiles and satisfaction when the female lead used the major life event to make her life what she really wanted! The main leads were great and their love was special. Good skinship. 👄
I liked their relationship journey and how both their lives and characters were enhanced by each other. Don't let the fear of a sad ending put you off this drama like I did, because I didn't cry and it's a very pleasant surprise to find how it ends! 🎁
The OST was romantic and upbeat. The storyline was both touching and inspirational! This shows that everyone needs happy plans and should dare to fulfill your bucket list. I loved the female lead's makeover both internally in courage and externally in realizing her beauty potential.
I fully support the life lessons that no one has any guarantee of tomorrow; we need to live each day doing things which make us happy; what matters is not money or power but the ones we love; it's never too late to find love, and every day is a wonderful miracle! What a super meaningful, heartfelt drama, well-acted, and it adds a beautiful scent to life.

The story started off really interesting and exciting. But then by then half way through it just became this downer. Every episode was just sad and also repetitive. The plot slows down because there's not a lot of story to tell once they confess to liking each other. Every episode after that is just a reminder that KSA's character is going to die.
Speaking of KSA she really is a phenomenal actress. However this is one of my least favorite roles from her. I much prefer her in City Hall. I like KSA funny and angry. No matter how I see it Lee Dong Wook can't seem to win me over. Dont get me wrong he is very attractive but his acting just flat out sux. I didn't like his acting in My Girl and I dont really like his acting in this drama either. Although it seems he as improved some. The supporting cast is amazing.
The music is nice. I like that "beautiful" song by that guy from JYJ.
I'll probably rewatch this if the ending manages to be a shocker and she lives but i doubt it so.
Overall this drama wasnt what i was expecting but if i wasnt such an impatient person this would be an amazing drama.
