Something about this drama just does it for me

Luo Yun Xi, oh, Luo Yun Xi! That scene where he turns around and the camera zooms in on his face is worth all the hours spent watching this amazing drama. This is the drama to watch if you love dramatic and tragic romance.

3 MAN LOVED HER, BUT SHE ONLY LOVE THE ONE WHO HAVE A PERFECT LIFE.

OUT OF THE 3 MAN WHO LOVED HER, THIS IS WHAT I THINK

3 LOVED HER , SHE LOVED THE ONE WHO DID NOT DIED FOR HER

2 OF THEM DIED IN THE END, THOUGH ONE IS DIED TO SAVED HER LIFE, THE OTHER DIED FIGHTING THE YUAN EMPRESS.

LEFT ONE IN THE END BUT I THINK HE GOT IT TOO EASY. I DONT THINK HE DESERVED HER.

THE ONE I FEEL SORRY FOR IS THE GENERAL, WHICH SOME OF U MAY AGREED, HE LOVED HER WHEN THE OTHER PRINCE REJECTED HER. HE SAVED HER FROM SHAMED WHEN THEY R IN THE BATHROOM WHEN SOMEONE WANTED TO FRAME HER. HE HAVE THE WORST LIFE, BEING CHASED BY KILLERS FROM YOUNG. NOT LIKE THE PRINCE WHO HAVE A SHELTERED LIFE, DOING WHAT HE WANT HIS WHOLE LIFE JUST BECOS HE WITNESSED HIS MOTHER KILLING, HIS EMPEROR FATHER PAMPERED HIM TOO MUCH.

THE 2ND ONE I FEEL SORRY IS THE OTHER PRINCE WHO GIVE HIS BLOOD FOR HER, BECAUSE HIS MOTHER SINS HE HAVE TO BEAR ALL THE RETRIBULATION. HE CANNOT BE WITH THE PRINCESS BECOS THEY R ENEMIES , HIS MOTHER KILLED HER FAMILY.

N ALL THESE STARTED BECOS OF THE EMPEROR , THE FATHER OF THE PRINCE LI, HE IS THE SINNER HERE N THE EMPRESS YUAN ALSO.

Repetitve tricks draggy story

From the beginning of the drama there are loopholes all over the story and cast, which I ignored but after too many repeated tricks involving disguise with same face, that just killed it for me. Overall I watched most of the episodes and feel pity to Fu Chou who's been manipulated his whole life.

Here's what's so broken about this drama *spolier.alert*
ML who had trauma from childhood couldnt touch a girl but.able to touch FL and fell in love instantly. And second ML who's whole life mission is revenge also fell for the same girl in no time. Not to mention both ML gave up everything for her.

Inconsistency of character: Ya Li was such a nice girl who didn't hate the FL in the beginning suddenly became toxic girl who is capable of tricks and disguising as her maid?!!

Same trick of adultery tried on th ML also applied to FL. I couldnt take it anymore skipped to the last 3 episodes just to reach the ending, pretty much could be predicted from episode 20 onwards so why the drag for 48 episodes.

They just have to kill Fuchou and Hanxiang at the end, for what?!!! After so many ridiculous survival of battle and posioning, why not give the pitiful characters some good ending afterall.

And many other reasons I would recommend safe your time, don't watch this drama. I dont understand the high rating given to this drama.

Protective & Faithful

It was the theme song and Aarif Rahman that piqued my interest. Love the fight scenes and the production quality! The soundtrack is amazing and the costumes are beautiful, especially when the ML and FL were in the Southern Fringes; the best ones are at the very end when the couple are all in black and gold. My favorite characters are Wu You and his brother, Wu Yu. Wu Yu is hilarious, and his relationships with two girls are in general very loving and funny. All the things Wu You did to prove his love for Man Yao were powerful and moving. I cried so much at the end. Definitely rewatchable!

I've been watching dramas for 15 years and this is the first review I've ever written. Basically, this story is everything I wanted the disastrous "Untouchable Lovers" to be with the whole "confused identity switching/spy on a mission" plot line. However, as much as I enjoyed the strong FL and the loyal ML, I found myself rooting for the side characters. Fu Chou and Rong Qi were the most interesting characters with complex backstories and development. I didn't feel like Wu You was the male lead and thought his character growth remained very superficial and one dimensional (same for the FL). I found his unwavering love for Man Yao/Rong Le refreshing, but I just felt like something was missing. There were some abrupt changes of heart with some characters which I assume was done to help fill any plot holes, but the pacing was off. I think that's why I'm not completely satisfied with the way the drama ended even though it's a significantly happier ending than most Chinese period dramas. Although the plot seemed to drag with some smaller stories and drama with certain side characters feeling drawn out, I would encourage you to keep watching til the end.

Great Ending? Depends on who you ask...

The story was pretty strong, and the plots were not confusing. The actors did a great job in their roles. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough chemistry for me between some of the couples, and all around, there was just so much tragedy. I suppose many viewers liked the outcome of the ML & FL - and I suppose that makes the 58 episodes worth it. However, the ending counts as a tragedy for me - because there was so much sacrifice and love that brought us to that point, and for me that just overshadowed the happy ending. A couple of loopholes in the storylines - but I guess the viewer just had to figure out what was going on, but it didn't spoil the overall story.
I admit I skipped through a lot of scenes - I couldn't take the sadness and the deaths. I can't say I would rewatch this series again. Once is enough. But it was worth the effort once I was prepared for how the story would end.

Own opinion about this drama

soooo, this is my very fist review and i will try to write something that i woulld like to read.
First of all it have a happy ending, so here we go....

The Plot/Story: it was really good, really unpredictable, and fast paced, i must admit i got a little tired in the middle and started skipping scenes but just bc i was really impatient and just wanted to see the main characters. It got several plot twist that in one moment i got a little paranoid.

The Acting: WAO, just WAO i want to really call out the male second lead , his acting were amazing, the way he portrayed emotions have me really surprised. About the main couple i didn't feel a lot of chemistry but while they interact i did feel a little chemistry.

The music: the lyrics and rhythm of some song were so good, that even if you don't want to see the drama, i do recommend the OST.

but yeah.... i think that was all i wanted to say ....

Story: I enjoyed the story as it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best thing I've ever seen. The plot has some unique aspects that you won't see in other dramas which is probably one of the reasons I persisted through this show is it was fairly enjoyable overall.

Cast: I loved Jing Chao (Fu Chao) acting the best as second lead syndrome hits you hard with him in this story. Everyone else was also doing really well in my opinion as it was mostly believable.

Music: I LOVED the OST as this is probably the #2 OSTon my list as I loved the intro and the outro alongside the music that was throughout the episode. When I hear some of the music now, I always remember the drama as certain songs make me feel like crying when I hear them.

Rewatch Value: I enjoyed watching it but rewatching it is a separate story. I honestly don't know why but I just don't feel like rewatching it; I might in a few months, but I'm not rewatching for awhile.

Princess Silver is a historical fantasy Chinese drama. The story started off very well with a clear plot (a princess forced into an arranged alliance marriage with a foreign prince who had no interest in her) and was quite interesting but the plot kinda changed and got really messy in the middle. It was a real struggle to complete this drama. The ending was decent though at least. The cast did well with what they had to work with. To be honest, I did not find the male lead to be very likeable, and I didn't really find the romance between the main leads interesting . My favourite characters in this drama was Xiao Sha (he was adorable), and Fu Chou (his story is downright depressing and in my opinion, he deserved a happy ending). The soundtrack was ok. I probably won't recommend this drama since there are better historical fantasy dramas than this, and the possibility of me rewatching this drama is very slim.

This drama has climactic episodes! I had to pause to satisfy some intense excitement. I've read some comments It's about love's trial and tribulation. The plots build on one after another. No fast forwarding. The flash-backs were kept to the minimal, where at some points it helps to have the playbacks. There are a few good songs and satisfying ending to the story. This drama follows the Heavy Sweetness, Ash-like Frost in similar ways but not the same story. The ending is satisfying. Definitely a re-watch.

More than what you think

I was getting tired of dramas but after watching the first 2 episodes, I was hooked. Hear me out, although this show doesn't prioritize the romantic scenes, the plot is CRAZY BIG BRAIN! Yes, there are sweet scenes, but the plot is really unexpected and I really think its worth the watch. I used to only prioritize love scenes, but this is really interesting that would keep you wanting to watch.

As for casting, I feel like each of them really has their own character and habits! Pretty distinguishable I would say
As for music, in my opinion it wasn't very hooking, but during certain scenes it sure hits the spot

More about the FL attitude is that she is a pretty strong-willed kinda girl, not those weak girls that can't protect themselves. ML is a cold-at -first then warm later kinda person, a smart guy.

Oh and, its a love triangle kinda show lol.

Anyway I really do think you should watch it! Hope you do!

Okay Plot, Great acting, and Great ending

Storyline/Plot: I liked the plot all the way until the half of it. At that point, I started to feel like I was watching whole another drama. Besides that, it was interesting especially how good the production was and the outfit.

Acting/Cast: I like the casting it was really good. I know a lot of people wanted Leo to be the main lead but I completely disagreed. Because Leo if he played an arrogant, confident man like Prince Li (Wu You) it wouldn't have been believable. I liked his character in Ashes of love and his character was similar. And he executed it very well, I just felt like Aarif did a good job as he was mature and fit the role perfectly. I agreed that the main characters didn't have chemistry. However, I did feel like this was one drama that I didn't need a kiss scene or a confession. Since, you can tell that they both did love each other. But, I felt it was the fact the female lead did overshadow Aarif's character a lot.

Music: I don't really comment about the music but the opening was different as their wasn't any lyrics involved. I didn't like the song that played every time that a romantic moment happen though.

In conclusion, it was good. I would definitely re-watch it just for the romance and fight scenes with Aarif since he was so captivating.
