Fan Xian meets his father and learns more about his mother and the Royal Treasury. Based on his father’s assessment, the Royal Princess and Crown Prince are after him as he stands to inherit the Royal Treasury by marrying the Royal Princess’ daughter. Unbeknownst to Fan Xian, the person to whom he’s betrothed was the woman he met at the temple and has fallen in love with. Teng Zi Jing’s identity is not who he seems.

After he met his father, he had to wait for quite some time to talk to him. But the thing his father asked him was what business do you want to start, haha he said Glass, Soap from the modern world but his mother already made them here. This duo really be making me laugh, they're funny together. Talking about the Royal Princess who manages the Imperial Treasury more like FX's mother's business. The Princess was not married but she had a daughter with Prime Minister, a secret. The lady who's decreed to be married to Fan Xian. An order from the emperor, Marrying a bastard to a bastard, Great match. Such a cheerful atmosphere while eating lol, truly the pressure on Step mother changed her for a while. I read the novel and I still wanna say this, I really wanted to see the scenes described in the novel, but they only adapted the major plot points and avoided all the minor details. It's still good we all know, but those little things, I wanted to see them.
