Even though its the drama follows the stereotype of CEO with OCD, the latter half of story is really good. I deduced 2 stars for story because of the controlling personality of Wei Qing (Male Lead) and stupidity as he realised his feelings in episode 27, the drama have 30 episodes only and he realized it only after cruelly turning down the confession from female lead and because complete justice was not served as male lead's uncle was bot punished for his sins. The melody of OST is really sweet.

From about 14th episode, the story starts to feel real good as he changes from a control freak to kind and warm hearted man.

The personality of female lead is impressive. She's always firm on her stand and fights for herself.

The secondary actors are extremely cute and their love story have sufficient screening time. Xiao Fei is handsome and adorable cat whereas the matured version (without specs) of Meng Cheng is really handsome (maybe more handsome than male lead).

Easy to watch

It's a love story about a CEO who has a severe allergy to human touch, especially women. One day he finds a girl he's imune to and he becomes somewhat obsessed with her, but she doesn't want to be with him.
He's been starving for human touch and intimacy for 10 years so he uses all the cunning tricks and manipulations he can to make her his girlfriend, he's almost evil during this part. Personally, I've enjoyed all the tricks he was using to make her stay by his side because I can understand how desperate he was to hold her. His tricks are a bit different from the other dramas and that makes it refreshing to watch. The intimacy between the main leeds is satisfying and not frustrating as it is in most dramas where they literally tease you with them not kissing. Here they kiss, early on in the show and in a very satisfying way during the series.
It's a very easy and relaxing drama to watch from the beginning to the end. Even though there were 30 ep they were easy and fun to watch because they didn't repeat themselves, the storyline was light and it drew me in and kept me interested.

Expected More, then again... it's a C-drama

I was hoping that this drama would've shown me that C-drama's can produce solid dramas, but it didn't.
Definitely wouldn't be watching it again.
The acting was 'okay' to say the most, but the plot itself was going NOWHERE quick!!
The ML character was just so... bah! His character was emotionally weak, immature, controlling, and down right demanding. The only thing was going good for him was that he's rich. That's it. Absolutely nothing else.
The FL was TOO air headed for me, and let me not start about the relationship between the ML & his mother. Pfffff

Hi everyone! I just binged watched this, it surprised me in a very positive way. (I almost didn't fast forward! )
The story was somewhat original, with a few twists, the characters were very good... Good acting... Some bad acting as well but you don't really notice it in the overall.
It was fun to watch, sometimes exasperating... Loved the kiss scenes... ❤️
This is the kind of drama that you know if you are going to like it in the first two or three episodes...
I don't regret giving it a chance... I had fun...

I don't know why Chinese production are so obsessed making the females character dumb and ugly even when they look like a model and a male character as artificial intelligence who have knowledge of each and every thing in this drama male lead is just twenty two years old but he smartness and experience shows as if he is sixty year old and again the female lead is dumb,poor,foodie even though she is very thin but when she starts eating she eats like as she has not seen food for a long and her one friend who is beautiful but more like gold digger always creates problem and scold her bf still this drama is good to watch for one time and i specially like the brainic couple

Show is filled with deep emotions and great acting from the casts. However (spoiler alert)
There are many many sweet scenes but things/status are not official till the last 3 eps. So it feels like not satisfactory...
Ending feel a bit rush when all the mysteries get solved.. although is a happy ending, feels incomplete because things were not explained fully in the show and other than the main casts they didnt really say what happened to the others.
Need a season 2 for all the sweet scenes and actual couple storylines..
Worth to watch but
Maybe wont rewatch but will see clips online..

Very enjoyable Drama with a sadly disappointing Ending

I finished this drama in one Sitting and I must say I did enjoy most of it BUT the last Episode was just Trash (my opinion)

It is a good drama that creates a nice atmosphere.
The plot is not that original but it creates many chances of interaction between the leads which are often very cute or funny.
Zhou Shis friends are just so hilarious and fun ( like they used physics in such a comical way and as a person who understands most of them they are pretty amusing) to watch just like their own romance in the story.
But it gets weaker to the end cause they start to create (stupid) misunderstanding while important conflicts reconcile somehow way too easy.
The plot is not that original but it creates many chances of interaction between the leads which are often very cute or funny.

The were many cute moments and it was also very entertaining but some episodes were just pointless to the story (but these were often my fav. Episodes hehehe) and the End was way too rushed leading to "simple solution" that don't fit the development of neitherthe Characters nor the story.
For example just the way Wei Qings Mother acted the whole time. She treated him so badly and it felt like she slapped him everytime they met and the reason is because her husband liked him more than her??? Jealousy you serious... "I didn't just lose my husband but I also lost my son" no... just leave me alone. She treated him like trash and that's how they decided they gonna end this conflict???
What is even more confusing is her reaction to his allergies. idek what I should even say about that...

So many things happened that were just threw into the plot to cause more drama that were just completely useless/pointless and some scenes would be way better in a different order but heyyy it's a drama there can't be no moment of peace ig...
Also it was just so annoying hearing Zhou Shi say she doesn't know if she likes him or doesn't believe him that he loves her like??? You were acting like a married couple for about 10 episodes. Firstly I didn't care but she acted this way till the last minutes of the drama and it was just way too much at this point.

In general the last episode was such a huge disappointment from acting, directing and Ending of the plot in general.



In CONCLUSION.... I rly enjoyed this drama that's why I was able to watch it within 2 days and because i liked it so much I'm even more disappointed of the ending.
But it's still a very enjoyable drama that I would recommend watching. To those who dislike rushed ending I do recommend to stop at episode 28/29 and just spoil yourself the ending (even tho you can guess most what's gonna happen anyway)

Season 2 coming

First of all I loved the cast they were amazing and the acting was so good.
But there is a season 2 coming on the way and I am so excited.
Now about the drama I liked how the male lead had some kind of disease and that the girl was his only hope and how he relied on her it was so cute after they got used to each other they acted like everything was normal and they slept together without doing anything like they were a couple but as friends
And I hated the mother of guy bc she was blaming him for his father’s death even though he did nothing wrong and I think that someone from the family has something to do with his father’s death.
Also the guy should’ve confessed to the girl more private and after he confessed he should’ve told her about his father bc the girl needs to know why he was at his old house investigating his father’s death. The ending though was cute.
Btw in season 2 they will face lots of trouble as couples and I think they were gonna get married and they break up bc she thinks he is cheating on her so be prepared

Entertaining

Entertaining drama, but some episodes drag and the story is not unforgettable.
The OCD suffering mysophobic company president's plots and snares to tie the useful but not stunning artist girl to his side are bound to fail until he resorts to sincerity, but even then, will it be enough ? The opposition of business and artistic views are somewhat caricatural, in my opinion. The mystery behind the shy and tortured genius young artist, and the company president, drives the plot more than the somewhat twisted romance which features a collection of expected problematic behaviors. Some moments are, as expected, quite sweet; some others can be disappointing and trite or even offensive to persons with high stress trigger sensitivity because of gestures and maneuvers that are almost borderline and not just funny, although they are often expected as romance ingredients of this type of stories.
Once aware about this and for those not too easily fazed (and since C dramas have instructions to stay within certain limits, that most mythology often transgressed, but our neo-victorian and social justice conscious times frown upon with passion or hypocrisy) it could still be enjoyed by most young adults or older audiences.
I thought this drama was not extremely memorable, as I had started watching it a while ago and then turned to other ones, leaving it on hold, almost forgotten. Coming back and rewatching, I thought there's enough in it to maybe embark on Season 2 which is a bit slow to air at the time I'm writing and which may flesh out some of the other supporting characters together with the back history behind the business and families stories, while adding new complications to the three couples' relationships. They are not role models to follow in my mind, but as the "nerdy" girl puts it, the developments can be "interesting", or entertaining.

3.) Five words that describe the ML character: manipulative, bossy, has PTSD, decisive, attractive but not a head turner
4.) Drama quote that stuck with me: ML to FL: Are you having your period? FL lead: no, ML: then not even your hormones can help you with your flat chest. 🙄
5.) Four Spice factor: 🌶️🌶️ one or two decent kissing scenes, two shirtless scenes, the M L attempts to block in the FL in a spicy move , which was more annoying than anything else. ML character slightly 🚩but more of a rich man who believes that he can buy anyone and you want to slap his face in annoyance , rather than being magnetically pulled towards him.
6.) Drama type: modern, slow burn romance with a large slice of manipulation
7) Every drama starts with the script: nothing really new here, but the art gallery family, death twist was slightly interesting
8.) Conflict/Angst: moving past mental health and childhood/family issues.
9.) Engaging drama: I skipped through much of the middle episodes, the manipulation by the ML character was a real turn-off and yes he redeemed himself later, but it stained the rest of the drama for me.
10) Cinematography/Directing: the ML dressed like he was part of a boy band, some of the scenery was decent, but nothing that provided a wow factor.
11.) Fighting choreography matters: standard one guy punches another guy
12.) Actors: the ML character had the widest variety of emptions, line delivery and sub-titles were all fine , but the FL fighting spirit and her supportive friends is what stuck with me as I write this review.
13.) Memorable/forgettable/acceptable: at the intersection of acceptable and forgettable
14} Rewatchable/recommendation: will not be on my rewatch list and is recommended if you have nothing else to watch
