Boys over Flowers

꽃보다 남자 ‧ Drama ‧ 2009
Four Beautiful guys! One arrogant and stubborn man. Although the storyline is way different you would love Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. The Comedy and love story is brilliant. Both stories tell you about what it means to be rich or poor, having a personality over beauty. It's a most see!

Chaebol, strong female lead that falls for the chaebol, evil mother/ family and how the female lead changes the chaebol. Need I say anything more? Oh, Hyun Bin and Ha Ji-Won provide a stellar performance that would make you love them!

Both dramas have similar stories about Flower boys and a poor girl. I think "Moon river" is better than BOF.

If you haven't watched the phenomenal OG of all the love-triangle stories in the existence of k-drama history, then what are ya waiting for? xD
- Follows the story of the rich guy and poor girl (and somewhat poor girl in TB)
- Has the most precious, selfless, and heartwarming second male lead that you will fall in love
with
- Complicated love-triangle stories
- Strong and hardworking female leads, but can be vulnerable at times
- Beautiful messages portrayed in both
- TB is like a modern and somewhat more realistic version of BOF
- Both have good comedic value
Although BOF is 12 years old, it still is a good drama to go back to and watch every now and then. The start for it all

Boys over flowers has F4, extraordinary you has A3. Guys are fighting over the girl they want. They're both set in prestigious schools. If you liked extraordinary you you'll more than likely like boys over flowers too and vice versa.

In both dramas ML is rich and FL poor and hardworking. In both dramas ML at first hates FL. In Boys over Flowers characters are high schoolers, Cheese In the Trap is about college life, but the similarity is that they are still studying.

Rich Men and a poor women. One talks more about the fancy lifestyles about the rich than the other but both main leads are peculiar and have interesting personalities. The second lead tends to have some air of mystery, but are good guys in the end. Second female lead in rich man poor woman is similar to one of the girls that become interested in Jun Pyo as well.

Jeon Ki Sang directed both dramas so if you like one you will probably enjoy the other one as well.

This is the korean version of the manga made in 2009, and is one of the most famous, well-recognized and loved kdrama of all times, with its casting and direction. If one hasn't watched this, he hasn't even seen the essence of kdramas.

If you like the cheesy and cute type of drama this one is right in your aisle. Super cute from start to finish. 10/10 in my opinion of course.

Geum Jan Di comes from a poor family who owns a dry-cleaning shop. One day, she visits Shinhwa High School, a prestigious school for the wealthy, and saves a student trying to commit suicide because of bullying. For her heroic act, Jan Di receives a swimming scholarship and starts attending the school.

In Shinhwa High, she meets the notorious F4, the most popular and powerful group of boys at the school, consisting of Gu Jun Pyo; the leader of F4 and heir to the Shinhwa Group, Yoon Ji Hu; the grandson of a former president of Korea, So Yi Jung; a skilled potter who comes from a family that owns the country's biggest art museum, and Song Woo Bin; whose family runs the country's largest construction company.

Her life at school starts out miserable, as she doesn't fit in with other students because of her status, and later becomes worse when she is labeled as the new bullying target of the F4.

If you liked Lee Min Ho in this drama then definitely watch Personal Taste you will love him.
It's a Rom-Com where two people become roommates in the FL's house because she kinda wrongly assumes the ML is gay and the ML doesn't correct her because he wants to study the house which was built by the FL's father.
It' s a good watch after watching Boys Over Flowers.
