Same story, different version. Both are based upon the manga with the same characters and general plot but have different interpretations of the story.

i love them both as they have the typical cinderella story with the simple girl and rich heir. even though the stories are different, they are both rom-coms and if you like one you will like the other too!

Fifteen-year-old Sei Saotome is the type of person who tends to fail at the most crucial times. After nearly becoming a high school drop-out, she enrolls into a school that is overambitious for her. There she meets the bold and popular Taiyou Udagawa; and the dreamy and stars obsessed, Mizuki Ootaka. After being asked by Mizuki to join the two guys in the Astronomy Club, it turns out high school life isn't as bad as she had expected.

suggesting it for both series have four friends (male lead ) they have great bromance and as with it love story you can see . one have bickering romance other have silence/introvert type romance . one is high school and other is university setup .

Ok, these are pretty differents (not the same emotions, not as moving) BUT it's a story of a selfish rich boy and a nice poor girl who finally fell in love

If you are finding some Kdramas with that second male lead syndrome then both of these dramas are made for you. Those two 2nd lead are caring, always there when she needs, a sweet-hearted guy but female leads didn't choose them in the end... =(

Same story line rich guy poor girl.Who is not scared to challenge the guy and turns the whole story into fun and loving .

If you like F4 Thailand, you will enjoy the Korean version as well. It is essentially the same, but I believe there is more violence in this drama. However, the actors are excellent as well as the acting, and Lee Min Ho plays the main lead.

I think the behavior of the main characters and some scenes are similiar sometimes... And even the plot in some sort (popular guy fell in love with the less popular girl).

Both begin with the FL transferring to a new school and ending up clashing with the school bully/popular guy who slowly begins to fall for her. Both have a love triangle between the leads and the ML's best friend.
