19-year-old beautiful Shiratori Reiko is a self-professed ultimate princess. Despite her haughty attitude, she is actually a very late bloomer and knows nothing of the real world. Reiko has had feelings for Akimoto Tetsuya since childhood, but her enormous pride always gets in the way, and she cannot tell him in all honesty that she is in love with him.
Tetsuya soon becomes a university student, and Reiko follows him to Tokyo. But he is constantly at the mercy of her overly unique sensibilities. Then Tetsuya’s ex-girlfriend, a cute high school girl, the wealthy Yoshimoto Ryunosuke, who has fallen in love at first sight with Reiko and Reiko’s rival, Kakitsubata Ayame, appears before the two of them.

So..
It may seem well off but Penthouse strikes to be the much more modern and adapted version of Boys Over Flowers. I believe they follow the same basic plan of a drama and develop into different plots. In both series, a lot happens in every episode. The plot of Penthouse is more thought out and the quality of the drama is top. I rate both these dramas very highly, Boys Over Flowers is more of a comfortable vibe.
There will also be other similar shows such as:
Heirs (Inheritors)
Sky Castle
Meteor garden
The Chinese/ Thai remakes of BOF also
And other similar dramas…

Enemies to Lovers Trope – Both series feature a strong-willed female lead who initially clashes with the male lead before romantic feelings develop.
School Hierarchy & Bullying – The male lead in both stories holds a position of power within the school (F4 in Boys Over Flowers and Section E in Ang Mutya ng Section E), leading to conflicts with the female protagonist.
Love Triangle – A second male lead also develops feelings for the female protagonist, adding emotional tension.
Character Growth – Both stories explore personal growth as the characters navigate relationships, responsibility, and self-discovery

Same cinderella vibe but in school. In this drama there's a boy who's the leader of F4, this group consists of the four richest and most handsome boys on the campus. The girl in question comes from a lower-class family and meets the boys. In the beginning, she hated the leader but she was madly in love with one of the other boys in the group.

Not quite as epic as BOF, but if you enjoyed watching the normally arrogant and self-assured Joon Pyo become insecure and goofy as he tried to express his love, then you will like this one. The male lead has a similar vibe and you WILL laugh out loud watching him. Nice little love triangle and some good-looking guys round out the similarities.
