I need to metion the characters. All of them have their own type as they should. Mr. Cha can be jealous, can be cold but We'd never see him doing something crazy and wild cause He's not that type of person. That's what makes him and all the other characters so special and relatable. There's only one person in the drama I'm not quite sure about. Mr. Umbrella seems like he has no outstanding features which would make the viewer go "oh yeah that's so him". Without exactly highlighted characteristics how are we suppose to relate to him or understand him?
Besides that the soudtrackis really good but it repeats a lot. I'd like some more of it in the drama.
I love the actors! They really can act their characters well. The old one has a face of the old one, the handsome one has a face of a handsome one and the mean one has a face of a mean one. It's a huuggee advantage!
Overall I really like this show. It does play with my emotions a lot but In a good way. If you are someone who doesn't like romances then try this one! It can be cliche at the times but it has lots of surprises as well. I'll defenietly watch it till the end and always cheer for Mr. Cha and Dali!

Of books, friendships and second chances.
Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. I guess I had high expectations, but this k-drama sort of fell a little flat for me. Predictable story line, and in all honesty there were no big problems throughout the storyline. Not a bad show, but I wasn’t getting excited to watch it like I have with other dramas. This show was pretty fun, but the romance didn't work for me. The age gap between the main leads was awkward. The characters were charming but the whole book theme was pretty heavy handed. Light and easy to watch, it was entertaining but it didn't stick with me.

Easy watch in-between to feel comfortable
The only reason I am writing this review is because I stopped watching this drama at a certain point where I felt it would become a lot worse. I was wrong. As foreseeable as the series is, I thought I could foresee the intense clichés and drama that was yet to come and as I was looking for something easy to watch, I put it on hold at that point.Hence here is my warning: If you want excitement and drama, look elsewhere, or it will really feel like "nothing" is happening. If, on the other hand, you want something low-level, keep watching. Anything that usually would have become a huge mainstay of a drama's plot was resolved in a calm and grown-up (yet no less emotional) manner. Also, the small "mystery" that spans through the whole series wasn't too exciting or unforeseeable, but it was still nice to follow as the characters found out step by step.
Apart from the portrayal for the love of books and writing that I found very down to earth yet inspring, I also loved the character development. It wasn't huge, but overall, it felt like all the characters got exactly the right amount of screentime to allow insights into their behaviour and their development - except for the daughter, who suddenly disappeared almost entirely. I just hate when characters get "forgotten" once they're not needed for the plot anymore.
The tropes used aren't new or innovational, but not overused either. There weren't any characters I disliked, although I didn't sympathise with all of them equally. The atmosphere they created together, on the other hand, was very accepting, inspiring and overall comforting to watch. The main couple's relationship was plausible and I liked them both together. It wasn't about being madly in love, but rather about feeling motivated and energised as much as grounded in a relationship, which I felt was another rather grown-up, less idealised approach on that matter.
All in all, this series made me laugh and cry and feel with the characters and I might rewatch certain episodes later just to feel comfortable. If that is what you're looking for, I highly recommend watching.

I miss seeing actor Lee Jong Suk acting!
Impeccable soundtrack! Incredible stories and wonderfully believable and close characters. It's a fun Kdrama, which made me laugh and remember some situations I experienced or witnessed. The songs are splendid, they make a complete connection between what you see and what you hear. The characters and their actors are impeccable. ALL! Even the supporting actors and extras give themselves a sincere performance. Forgetting Waiting Love Friendship Courage Resilience Determination Honor Character Firmness Labor Achievement Defeats Losses... are portrayed. The only mistake was not addressing the protagonist's motherhood, as a mother I know that there is nothing worse than separation from your child. But I understood the proposal and accepted. Was this review helpful to you?
1. Fresh Pairing of Lee Jong Suk and Lee Na Young as I can watch anything featuring Lee Jong Suk
2. It is a Romantic Comedy .
3. Setting is a Book publishing Company .
4. Potential Love triangle waiting.
// Can't wait to watch the leads on the screens next Saturday.

I can’t relate the character Kang Dan-I but she makes me root for her none the less.
Acting can be a bit corny, but people are pretty corny in real life so i get it. Love it so far! Can’t wait to see how the series progresses.

Couldn't get past the female lead
I dropped this after an episode, mostly because the female lead had such intense awkward mom energy and I had a very hard time getting interested in her love life. In the end I lost. Lee Jung Suk's character was just a little too perfect and sexy for me to believe he would be romantically interested in Lee Na Young's character. And it's not because she's older, I love watching dramas where the female lead is a bit older.I would have loved to see a drama set in the Korean publishing industry, tho. Oh well...

The actress playing the FL was horrible
Things I loved:The ML actor. He's wonderful, no matter what role he plays. He's the main reason I checked this out.
Things I hated:
The FL actress. Awful actress and awful character. Sorry, but I disliked her from the very first minute. I wanted to give it a chance, but I couldn't see the chemistry between the leads. I think she should play his older sister rather than his lover.

Tous ces fils s’entrelacent dans une intrigue harmonieuse, légèrement pimentée par le mystère de l’auteur disparu;

Dan-i é minha personagem pra vida!
Was this review helpful to you?
