A Heartwarming Story About 2 Insanely Attractive Couple

It's been a while since C-Drama produced a good slice-of-life drama with stunning cinematography. The most recent one that I enjoyed was Meet Yourself, it has such a similar vibes and warmth that I liked.
The story wasn't necessarily inventive or new, however, the plot was just so well written that the sophistication of this drama is irreplaceable. Aside from the obvious stunning Male and Female lead visuals, the characters they portray are very mature, capable and equal in their own rights. The show portrays growth in each characters, bringing the best in each other - which is something that sometimes lack in dramas.

The minor detail that I enjoyed was how supportive both parents and elderly of the couple. They have comedic side to them, which are such a bonus point.

The best modern Cdrama I've ever watched.

The drama is perfect, with great photography and OST, everything seems to create an atmosphere of love and tranquility. It is a pure drama, without any major confusion or misunderstandings that go on for too long.
Zhang LingHe is perfect as Dr. He SuYe, all his mannerisms and quirks are evident. His character is an adult, even though he has been through traumas that he has carried since childhood. The drama knew how to balance it out and not let his old relationship affect his new romance with our protagonist.

Xu RuoHan, besides being beautiful and radiant, managed to convey all the emotions of our dear Shen XiFan, that scene where she is suffering sitting on a bench while devouring a ce cream makes me suffer even now as I write this review. She matured throughout the drama, and knew how to deal with all the situations she faced.

For someone who doesn't like modern Cdramas, this was certainly the best modern Cdrama I have watched, in every sense. Only mistake was that he only had 28 episodes.

The best thing is literally the best thing. I had stopped watching cdramas for almost two years because they just were not appealing to me. I decided to restart with The First Frost but dropped that after a few episodes. Then came along The Best Thing and was I so happy. No immature leads, no dragging on of disagreements, adult way of dealing with issues, fantastic ending, I could go on and on. This was just a fantastic drama from beginning to end. I was kinda holding my breath during each episode saying to myself, no silliness please. And there was none. I really applaud the writer/writers of this drama and will be looking for other dramas they might have written. My score for music is that because even though I don't speak Chinese, I was dancing along to the music and trying to imitate the words. I could go on reviewing but it would be too long. Will definitely be rewatching and recommending to my friends.

Wow, The Best Thing is literally The Best Thing

I enjoyed a drama like this after so long. It was a perfect drama with mature leads, no unnecessary drama or complications, a pure romance with greenest leads, and so much more.

I actually have been waiting for this drama for about a year and it exceeded my expectations. Such type of drama are rare where you feel everything is just perfect and don't want it to end. I am so so satisfied with this.
The best part here is that i didn't lose interest at any point, each episode was perfect and was always anticipating for the next.
The ML is such a green flag that is not possible for him to exist in real life and thats what dramas do, they make a man that don't even exist and they raise the standard for men.
As for FL she was also so good but so realistic. She had dreams, she was good to everyone and most importantly she treated her bf well. Sometimes in some drama you might think that fl don't love ml enough but this drama gave justice to this and i was so happy that they treat eachother so well.

That it, i want to forget this drama and re-watch it😅

Good feels

If you're after a series that is all about good feels, this one is for you.

Seriously, there's no rollercoaster ride of emotions or suspense. My emotions while watching this were:
my heart fluttered
I 'aww'ed a lot
I kicked my feet
Giggled/laughed
I 'yessss!!!'ed a lot too
And smiled
I cried once (and was in a state of delulu for about half the series 😅)

I really liked the characters in this including supportings, most are green flags.

Highly, highly highly recommend this if you like rom-coms.

If they bring out season 2, I would not complain. ❤️
