I just finished watching The Best Thing, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most refreshing modern C-dramas I’ve seen in a while. Definitely My Top1 Cdrama Now - Must Watch
I created this account just for this because I have a lot to say for this drama will cut all the spoilers will give a very honest review, long stoy short I was never really a fan of cdrama (i was a kdrama casual watcher) but during pandemic I started watching cdrama and my first watch is actually love o2o. That was the opening gate for me for more cdrama; I remember I loved that drama so much but then after 5 years, I never really find any cdrama that could give me the same excitement that love o2o gave me. Until this, I decided to watch The Best Thing because I am a fan of Xu Ruo Han (from her prev drama Perfect and Casual, I know cici can act so I am willing to give this a shot, especially their first teaser last year (the cherry blossom scene was aesthetically pleasing to the eyes). This is the first time I knew Ling He, that makes sense to me since I don't really watch costume drama because I don't like costume drama so pls take a note, I am a modern c-crama lover. Anyways, I wasn't expecting much since I was often disappointed by hyped drama these days HOWEVER TBT WAS SO SO SO GOOD. Dare I say it replaced Love O2O in my heart; their acting is actually good and I am surprised because I heard ZLH is a new actor because he definitely know how to act. Everything is perfect from the plot, the scenery, the music, to the chemistry between these two actors. I love that they actually take time not just rushing things and the fact that's their relationship is more mature but actually relatable to irl makes this drama special to me because I often find cdrama has this unrealistic things that's very hard to find irl, well except you can't really find Su Ye irl easily but the growth was relatable, the way they handle their problem is very easy to watch and although I tend to pause a lot due to embarassment from Su Ye's action since dude's actually very shameless, that just meant the actor did a great job acting as the sly fox doctor so I'm very impressed with Ling He's performance since this is the first time I watch his drama. Anyways, for Ruo Han aka cici, I can't emphasize enough she's very underrated; she's one of the few female c-actors who can actually act! I hope she could get many big projects after this ^^ thank you for acting as xifan, cici! will always love seeing you act. Both cici and linghe did an amazing job. Healing Romance that will stay and heal in your Heart for very very long time
I write this review on Sunday afternoon of 25.3.9 because on the evening,I have to attend the Wedding of our beloved Dr.He and Xi Fan together with my friends in ''Happy Best Club''.I write this review from my pov and experiences.
First of all, I started to read novel when it was confirmed as ZLH next project.
The first time I read the novel of this genre that had simple plot line with many TCM knowledges.At that time many novel readers and passerby fans had not much expectation for drama adaptation.
Time flied quickly, the anticipation for this project was mainly remained in the fan circle.Many people expected '' The Best Thing '' would be another Idol filled in drama with low budget that can't /shouldn't compete with other big projects.
However,the first time I saw the news about it was broadcasted on Jiangsu Satellite TV and Airing date on 25.2.25(the special meaningful Date),
I knew "The Best Thing" would go against all odds and broke the prejudices and expectations it was tagged before.
The storyline itself resonates in me in very deep spiritual ways.From losing someone due to breast cancer to being dumped by phone from long-term bf, you can't imagine how much healing I got from this drama. And as a person who had have anxiety and insomnia problems, the TCM parts involved in the drama gave the insight knowledges and helpful for healthy living.
And this is the first time,as a ZLH fan, I have the Best experience of chasing a drama.The Best Co-stars,the Best drama team, the Best treatment plus the Best watching experience together with the Best lovely people all over the platforms.
For the ladies and girls ,they said it is hard to find someone like Dr.He who is only fictional and never exist in real world.
Don't worry,as Ling He said, He Su Ye is a mirror,love yourself well,he will be in front of you .
Yes, we don't need to find somebody desperately.Instead how about becoming that somebody ourselves.Spreading love,healing and happiness to ourselves and our society and our world.

It’s been a long while since I’ve watch a series that is just so pleasant. Everything from the story line to the cast. The way the ML looks at the FL is just so mesmerizing. Cute, relaxing yet created curiosity
Love the Zhang Ling He (ML) & Xue Ruo Han (FL) to begin with.Their acting are very fitted with the character in this story. Other supporting actors also act pretty good.
A bit slow plot but very sweet relationship and make me happy and giggles to watch.
Just watched until 9 episode, still far but will continue watching.

Every soothing, healing & pleasing drama
First time seeing Zhang Ling He in a modern attire look. He looks so handsome in those clothes. Never noticed he is so slim. His up-close shots are so satisfying to watch.I'm not a flower person. But the amount of flowers that are shown in the drama was so beautiful. It made me want to buy those flowers, but alas, these flowers aren't available in my country.
I love the drama. It's a very sweet, loving, friendly, mature drama. I loved the chemistry between Zhang Ling He & Xu Ruo Han. I also loved the cinematography.
After watching the skateboarding scene of He Su Ye, it reminded me of the behind-the-scenes shoot. But the scene is so beautiful.
Poor He Su Ye with his marriage proposal from patients.
Laugh when He Su Ye checked Shen Xi Fan's pulse & casually said she is heartless.
Li Jie & his friend hurriedly leave after seeing He Su Ye being lovey-dovey.
He Su Ye fooling Shen Xi Fan that she made the first move & she believing him, or rather getting confused, was so cute.
Laugh whenever He Su Ye used to tease his friend for being single & him going on dates with his girlfriend.
This is the 1st time I have seen in main stream C-Drama showing smoking not directly but indirectly.
Overall I loved it.

The best thing has special place in my heart.Drama is about girl who is suffering from insomnia die to some reasons.
Then after trying so many method to cure insomnia
Nothing worked out
So she decided to try another form of treatment
And went to traditional Chinese clinic where she meet our male lead who is traditional Chinese doctor who specializes in acupuncture and other things.
Story is all about healing oneself cultivating relationship with each other,it's fluffy and has no stupid misunderstandings that last ten episodes or so.theres also no stupid ex who pesters her for fifteen episodes haha (there is ex but that issue gets resolved quickly).
I'm really not used to writing big sentences,much less reviews.because I often struggle to find right words to describe what I watched and liked about show properly... Even then I believe u guys will like this if you are looking for relaxing drama after watching something complex with some tragic elements in it
