Meh.
I’m split on whether I like this more than the original. I like that it the cast and story are aged up a bit and some of the storylines have changed for the better. In this one I felt the relationship and chemistry develop between Do-Hyun and Song-Yi, but I’m also partial because I like this casting of Do-Hyun a billion percent more.I hated the casting and plot of Ga-Rin in this version. That character was much more nuanced and interesting in the original. Hoon is also a lot better in the original too. Funnier, less cloying.
Oh and Se-Hyun was the WORST in this one. Ugh she sucks.

Warm & Comforting
Thanks to Reddit for helping me discover this hidden gemhonestly, if you go by MDL ratings, you'd miss lots of underrated shows
I LOVED every minute watching this
idk how anyone would have second lead syndrome here, the ML was so perfect, I actually got annoyed by the 2ML every second he got on screen
he was so coded to be likable but his attitude irked me so bad I started to forward his scenes
the ML is the greenest of all flags and I think he has amazing chemistry with the FL
only thing i felt was brushed over was that the ML didn't discover the duplicity of his previous gf
she's my second most hated on the show
she was a cheater that had the guts to give him ultimatums ughh
anyways, thoroughly enjoyed this

Uma bomba
Odiei esse dorama, achei os personagens principais muito chatos e que todo dorama seriafacilmente resolvido em uma conversa ao invés de mentir/omitir sobre tudo.
Shippei errado mesmo sendo óbvio desde o inicio com quem ela iria ficar, acho que podiam ter feito os melhores amigos se apaixonarem de um jeito bem melhor sem envolver outras pessoas, mas no final eles se merecem por serem dois insuportáveis.
Na minha percepção o conjunto de diversas atitudes são traição, a única parte boa do dorama é o casal secundário.
Só passei odio, não recomendo🤗❤️

I though it wasn't that bad!
It was good, I watched both seasons, it was a very slow burn, and most don't like that, but i watched it forever ago and i liked it then! I recommend people watch this show, it was my first K-drama and i loved it. I didn't notice much about the music, so thats why i rated it so low. maybe i would need to rewatch it. I do remember thinking the female lead was stunning, so i think they did a great job casting her visually. I can't remember much of the acting, but i don't remember thinking anyone was necessarily annoying. I liked the love triangle and they did a good job with a basic story.Was this review helpful to you?

The story and characters
I really liked this season and personally liked this season more than the second one. The characters and story was good i'd say, i love the friendship they all have, and really liked each characters stories, i really liked the second lead more than the actual lead, like i prefer the female lead and second leads relationship more than the actual lead, since its more interesting and I really recommend watching this if you like a simple romance drama and also a drama that is about friends and family!Was this review helpful to you?
I have very mixed feelings about My First First Love.
I liked this drama, but it never really stood out to me. I felt myself getting bored quite often and wanting to stop watching due the the slow plotline, and I felt that even the second season was like this. I thought it was really good in the first few episodes, and I was really interested in it, but after a while I simply got bored and wanted to move on, however I stuck it out and honestly I sort of regret it.Kind of a low stirring drama, Gets more interesting but kind of predictable, it's good for watching simply to keep you entertained, not a must watch drama but it's good.

Very fun, I was laughing out loud. Love the actors Choi Ri as "Oh Ga Rin" and Kang Tae Oh "Choi Hoon"! I actually wanted to see more of them in the drama, but I can understand that their characters could be overpowering for the drama if used too much (like a flavorful spice in a dish). The writers left me wanting more of these two actors, which is good I think. Haha...There's some drama, but the laughs especially from the two mentioned actors fed my soul. Thanks, hope you enjoy it as well!

Entertaining with some touching moments
First of all: This review is for both seasons.The casting was great. Kim Ji Soo as Yoon Tae Oh has great energy and charisma, and Jung Jin Young makes you sympathise with his character Seo Do Hyun. The female leads were also strong.
The story is a bit slice-of-life, although parts were too unrealistic. It had some lighthearted moments, some very emotional moments, and some frustrating moments.
The pace was quite good, and even if I could kind of see where it was going, I didn't want to stop or skip, but follow along as the story unfolded.
My expectation from the synopsis was probably that it was going to be a bit more romcom than what it was, so if you also think it can be a lighthearted funny watch, you might want to adjust your expectations more towards romance.

Friendship, Love, Family
I kept skipping over this on netflix for the longest time and finally just clicked on it as a "filler" while I was working but it got my attention!!! I regret not watching this years back.The part where Choi Hun was hearing a night gown and heels is always on TikTok and I finally got to see where they got the clip from.
The drama is about friends in their early 20s going to university and navigating their life, friendships and families.
Each one had their own path, own interest and somehow they still have a strong bond.
I understand the relationship between Yun Tae O and Han Song I. Their minds werent really thinking that far into what they already have...but when Do Hyeon came into the pic, Song I took that step towards him as she felt it was the right thing to do.
At first, I actually thought Do Hyeon and Song I were good together until I realized some little red flags.

We have not one but TWO genuinely nice male leads, which is refreshing. I love the focus on friendship between the four housemates. I'm really hoping Netflix renews this so we can finish the story.

LOVE THIS DRAMA
I loveee this show! its just so cute how the four housemates get so close and look out for one another and from their own family as each go them have family issues. This show is almost a 10/10 however I wish they showed a little more of when the ML actress falls in love with the ML actor because the ML Actor's love was very clearly shown. But on the whole would definitely recommend! the side role also do an amazing job keeping the drama lively and fun. The OST is just soooo cute and definitely will get you hooked on to the song.Was this review helpful to you?
