I usually have problems with Chinese dramas. For one, there are a lot of episodes so the plot can drag and the ending can be a piece of crap which is why is better to see the ending of the drama before deciding to waste your 24+ hours on it. I can say there's only been 2 Chinese dramas that I've enjoyed and that is Put Your Head On My Shoulder and Love O2O, however I can add this one to the list.

What I loved about this drama is the great chemistry between the leads. Although the confession took way too long, there was already a connection, a spark between the leads in the first episode. These two made the drama so enjoyable. I also like the friendship in this drama. I mean literally even the characters with non-speaking roles were so supportive of every character. The female lead's character seems kinda foolish at first but her character develops toward the end being a strong female lead character which is great. She's not a pushover towards the 2nd half of the drama.

What I hated about this drama was the fact they had the nerve to throw 2 girls to win's the male lead's heart apart from the female lead. This was stupid especially showing the 2nd girl at the last 4 episodes of this drama. What was the point in that? Very stupid. The first girl wasn't as annoying or frustrating as she didn't seem to have any bad intention to the female lead but the 2nd one seems like pure evil, doing anything she can to win back the male lead's heart. Good thing there weren't more episodes because this could've turned bad but didn't.

Also the drama was supposed to focus on 3 couples as stated in the description plot but it wasn't evenly distributed. Almost the first half of this drama focus on 1 couple (not even the main leads). Once that was resolved, then they focused on the main leads relationship, with the last 4 to 7 episodes focusing on couple #3 (second leads getting together).

I've seen bad Chinese dramas but this one was pretty decent. Not the best but certainly not the worst. Definitely would recommend this one if you haven't seen it yet.

Warning: I am writing this review at 2am after just finishing the drama so my thoughts are all over the place. Read at your own discretion.

This drama, despite not being very plot-driven, was very addicting. At first, I wasn't the biggest fan of Xing Yun (especially the horrible wig and hairstyle they gave her character....), but over time, I fell in love with all the characters, especially Xing Yun, who was strong and trusted Xia Ke, unlike other female leads I have seen. I love the aspect of having three different couples, all with different circumstances, but all very adorable. I would've liked for them to keep us updated with Chu Nan and Shen Qing's relationship, which I found super super adorable, but felt that they got shoved aside after the first ten episodes. Yao Qing and He Yu were also a tad rushed. Xia Ke and Xing Yun were so flipping adorable, and while there was an abundance of cute scenes, I did feel that they did not have as much chemistry as other couples I've seen. So many eye-candies!!!!

The plot is nothing too new. Typical CEO and office worker relationship and storyline. I liked how both leads eventually came to realize their love for one another, and even though it took them 3247239847 years to get together, it felt like a very natural progression. The plot picked up quite quickly, but unfortunately, there were also typical annoying drama tropes thrown in within the last episode (annoying ex-girlfriend, poor communication skills b/w the main couple, family business conflicts, etc.).

I'm overall satisfied with the ending and left the drama smiling. Actually, I was probably smiling through 95% of this drama, it was just so lighthearted and adorable.

I would definitely give this a go if you like cute and lighthearted dramas. I was looking for something to mend the hole left in my heart from Put Your Head on my Shoulders, and I think this did the trick!! <3 <3 <3

2 This is painful.

My main issue is that the characters where all horrible. Terrible. No one was likeable and they acted like adults stunted emotionally. The lead was supposed to be "innocent" and she was just dumb. The male lead was supposed to be aloof and I think he just ended up being immature and terrible. The second leads where even worse. The second lead was so terrible I was actually have a physical reaction to him.

There were some very humorous moments, but I just never cared for any of the characters. I felt like a lot of the cuter things just ended up being painful to watch. The music wasn't memorable, the story felt like it had potential, and the acting felt off.

This is one I can live with out.

The story flows like water!!! MUST WATCH

This series was pretty refreshing. Not new in the storyline but yet felt good while watching. I finished it in 2 days and didn't even notice how time flew.

Well, Bai Lu is a very beautiful, talented actress. But the major eyesore was her hair do in the entire series. I don't know whether it was a wig or her real hair but it made her look super ugly. The hairstylist kept the same hair do for their wedding as well.....arrggghhhh..... I mean even Amy, secretary of the ML was so well dressed and groomed but the actress... i felt bad for the her...Throughout the show it was like a giant OCTOPUS sitting on her head...ML was brilliant, he carried the CEO aura throughout.
The kissing scenes were steaming hwattt....

All other cast did justice to their rolls. Overall its a good show, people can definitely spent some 24 odd hours to watch it.

Cute female lead; Adorable Couple

I did not expect to enjoy this drama this much! It’s an easy watch. The plot moves along fast enough. As always, there are annoying moments because it is a *drama* after all. What’s a drama without drama? However, the irksome moments aren’t that many. Thank goodness.

Watch because:
- female lead grows on you - she’s cute and likable.
- male lead is tall, manly and handsome enough.
- the male and female lead have good chemistry and look good on the screen together.
- steamy kisses.
- true love - male and female lead truly love each other (in the show but of course).
- not that many scheming people.

Overall, an easy watch that moves along fast enough and has a happy ending! I love happy endings! Go for it!

Employee - Boss story had been shown in a different way

Story start with this story that she was already his employee and working with him since two years ,she sincerely worked with him as he was very devotee towards his work as well as towards his workers but still she was felt annoyed all the time with him that he always troubled her . He always want to kept her near because he fall for her but he was not ready to accept on the other side she never experienced being in relationship and she always seen him as her boss so just to imagine him to be boyfriend is next to impossible for her . So how they came together ,what ups and downs they came across is shown in whole drama .
Very light and beautiful love story . Not too much conspiracy and ending is also good.
Thumbs-up to the drama

Get ready for an average, but fluffy, office romance

To me, it will be your average, but fluffy rom-com of a CEO/employee’s blooming love surrounding other minor plots.

The storyline was okay, but I would not say it was amazing because it did not keep me edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next (like there will not be any mysteries to be unfolded). Felt some parts of the drama to be very bland and draggy. The main plot of course revolves around the ML (CEO who is cold hearted on the outside but warm hearted inside) who is secretly in love with the FL (Employee who had never been in love), and how he finally gets the courage to make the confession to be her first love. Other than that, minor plots include the second leading couple’s love story, ML’s sister’s love life, multiple company issues (I actually found the company issue parts very boring), but at least, there will not be annoying breakups or huge misunderstandings.

Romance and chemistry between the first and second leads were cute, but I do wish we’ve gotten more FIN moments. The leads had good characteristics in my opinion, and certain characters will annoy you (especially in the last few episodes).

In terms of BGM, again, I think it was average. It just gave the drama that light and fluffy feel to it, but nothing dramatic or intense.

Overall, it is a decent drama to watch, especially if you have nothing cute to watch.

STORY:
I usually don't care for modern dramas because the story lines are basically the same. Office drama/romances, love triangles, corporate espionage, etc. This drama honestly wasn't different in that aspect. The story lines were fairly the same as most modern/office dramas. The one good point was that this drama essentially skips all of the beginning relationship building, and at the beginning of this drama, the ML and FML already have a strong work relationship. The FML is actually the ML's "lucky person/mascot" and they've been together since day one of the company.

For me this plot advance gives you more time to really see the development of their relationship from boss/employee to lovers with good detail. It also makes the FML stronger, IMO, because you and other characters see the effort she already put in for the company, so there's little "back-door, climbing up the ladder" feeling that many other dramas end up having. No major twists and turns, but I think the development of their relationship was actually pretty solid.

As for the side characters, I honestly didn't care too much about them. The sister and her husband plot line pretty much worked out ¼ of the way in and they were just side characters by the end. The SML and SFML relationship was longer building, but honestly felt a bit more rushed to me. They were both "in love" with the ML and FML, but after one night, the SML was immediately in love with the SFML. Meh.

Characters:
ML - I like that more Chinese dramas are adapting the "cold boss" 霸道总裁 trope. The ML can still have some characteristics of that without being overly "cold" and ridiculous. I think Xing Zhao Lin honestly was super cute in this drama. His little smiles and facial expressions won me over while watching this.

FML - I honestly think Bai Lu was really good in this drama. She played the cutesy FML part well, but also showed a very responsible, dedicated, hardworking side as well. Overall the chemistry with XZL wasn't super deeply amazing, but it was cutesy and surface level good.

Others - The ex-girlfriend was honestly a bit overacted for me. Most of the characters were fairly realistic to me, but her character was just overly extra with no real substance.

Overall:

Again, decently cutesy drama. The kiss scenes were pretty good for a chinese drama. I would probably watch again whenever I have nothing else to watch, but it didn't blow my mind.

"Bland Compilations of Sweet Scenes" Type of Drama

This drama is the definition of anthology of sweet scenes but sadly they have no souls..Here are the reasons why..

Story : Very basic, nothing new from "domineering CEO & his staff" romance tropes. I really wanted to drop this drama midway if it's not for the mainleads. I'm sorry but the story was relatively boring & I realized they made the Mainleads characters to be more focused on work aspects, so I felt when the drama really tried its best to create romance vibe/situation by adding dramatic scenes, I cringed. Don't get me wrong, I love some office romance dramas like the leading "What's up with secretary Kim" or "Her Private Life", but in this drama, the pacing is not the best like many Chinese dramas could pull off.

The format is the same, for C-Drama with 24 episodes the couple would date on 17/18th episode, but sadly even after 2nd half of the drama, I didn't feel the connection between the mainleads. It felt like they merely recited the dialogue straight from the script. More than that, I didn't like that eventually, Mainleads relationship considered not healthy for me, as both parties esp ML still likes to hide things from his partner, and the last few episodes where they summoned Xia Ke's Ex. It was just too cliche, her character's motivation is just too unrealistic & dumb-purely to create misunderstanding between the Mainleads, like "girl, where's your pride? won't you just back off? your ex literally has moved on & already has a girlfriend.."

Cast : 9/10. The Mainleads are undoubtedly great in creating romantic atmosphere esp kissing scenes, but unfortunately I didn't see any sparks or chemistry between them. Maybe it was because of the script that literally left them with only few scenes to build their chemistry.
I actually do like the casts playing the second leads (He Yu & Yao Qing couple). They had the biggest character development here. Love their maturity & chemistry. Other casts are just fine.

Cinematography : On point, but just like in "Love is SweetX", the lighting are too much when they did romantic scenes..

Values : Believe yourself as you're more than what you think, family is everything, TRUST & HONESTY ARE THE PILLARS OF EVERY RELATIONSHIPS.

Conclusion : Interesting premise but executed poorly, everything seems to be rushed out in the end. Still, if you're interested in watching this drama after reading the plot, some good reviews & the casts list, just go ahead. Nothing new & deep to the plot, but yes it's filled with sweet scenes and hot kisses *ahem the Mainleads casts are popular with their kissing skills*.

Would rate it 7/10

Left me underwhelmed...

I like the Xing Zhao Lin but I didn't like Xiao Ke. I didn't like the second lead at all. His character was pushy and kinda creepy. The story had strength but I didn't like the relationship between the leads. There is chemistry between the actors but I just think it wasn't as sizzling as it was implied. The actors would fit better as friends or something. The character of Xiao Ke wasn't dreamy at all. The secondary characters were not interesting at all. The sister was a little interesting but she basically vanished from the remaining half of the show. I dont know why but there was something lacking in the show. I never felt like the characters were madly in love especially not from his side.

Really in love with Xing Zhao Lin after The Eternal Love. Really looking forward for his other drama just to see him... :P But really happy to watch this drama....

This drama like sulkytofu say so Fluffy, sweet, funny, and very daily romance. Really love the connection between Xia Ke (XK) and Xing Yun (XY). Loved how until the end XY can support XK without so much word.

What i don't like:
> In the beginning kinda frustrated how stupid XK is. He clearly love XY but why don't want to acknowledge it. Can't he even see XY just pretend to date He Yu... One can't just that easy to change their feeling.
> Really annoyed by Zhang Si Rui appearance in the end of the drama and the stupidity of XK. Yeah i understand when XK grandma sick he want to shelter XY from anything than can hurt her. But can't XK at least explain by phone. Hello.... Is your phone being bug until you can't even explain to XY by phone.... Really pissed me off.

What i love:
> How in the end Shen Qing is really not a stupid woman and she choose the right man for herself and her child. Even though her decision feel just jump to conclusion but we can't blame the scrip in here because however their relationship are not the main focus of this drama.
> Love how even though Yao Qing in love with XK but she is not a stupid woman that willing to do anything in the name of love and winning over XK. Happy in the end she can be together with He Yu.

Re-Watched: Love to re-watched it

This story was really sweet and didn't have to much to it. You have the two main leads Xia Ke and Xing Yun that meet by chance twice and begin to work together. Xing Yun is kind girl that does a lot for her employer, including taking care of him when he is hungover, in order to make sure that the company continues to reach their successful goal. Xia Ke might seem a bit demanding but he honestly cares for Xing Yun and you start noticing that his protectiveness of her goes beyond the scoop of employer. The show was a bit drawn out and at this I felt that they just added characters and antagonist in order to add more to the show, but if they would have expanded after their struggles, emotionally and job related, I think the show could have still been great. I honestly felt at times that both characters got pressured or influenced to make decisions based on what others thought they should do. There were times were I felt frustrated because of the misunderstanding or miscommunication between the characters, but again that is usual with any drama. It was still a nice drama that should be watched.
