I watched this since I'm familiar with the lead actors' past works. It would be interesting for me to see Bai Lu and Xing Zhao Lin recreate the chemistry together which I loved with them and other actors. And yes, they were that good. There was chemistry and I don't know if I'm biased with their last dramas but I love their chemistry with other actors (well, I am biased after all).
This is kind of a fluffy, funny, slice of life drama. This is an office drama where the female lead was the male lead's first colleague when he established his business. He hired her because her name was lucky. It was that simple. She is also the only person that could oppose him since he doesn't get mad in anything she does which makes her other colleagues use her as a shield when their boss is mad. It was a simple story and it also had it's moments. This is a drama you can watch breezily.

Refreshing, So-so
If u want something refreshing to watch, might as well add this.Recently I've been watching Bai Lu's drama and I happened to saw this on tiktok because of the hello kitty scene hahaha.
Kinda shocked coz majority of the dramas I watched, the leads did not know each other until an accident happens and this started as .. well an employee and boss already in a close bond-ish.
Well, i enjoyed the scenes and bai lu is just so cute hahahahha. FL got too stressed because she was left in the dark because of the ML's past relationship but glad it worked out and yassssssssss go Xing Yun, slaaay haha

I read the synopsis and it's draw my attention, so I start to watch it. But somehow the early episodes bored me, because I don't really understand the flow and the goal of this drama. The large number of casts also made me a little confused. However, starting from episode 3 I began to be very interested in this drama because the relationship between the casts began to form. In addition, the male lead began to show interest in the female lead, and that's very funny! o(≧▽≦)oThe conflicts are strong enough, with the smooth completion. I'm amaze with Xing Yun's big heart when she learned that Chu Nan's true love is Shen Qing. I know that it's because she don't love Chu Nan, but in my opinion the fact is quite shocking. Conflict with He Yu is get into my nerve, because somehow I dislike when he too much chase after Xin Yun. But, thanks to Yao Qing who brake He Yu's scenario. The conflict that I hate the most is the conflict with Zhang Si Rui. I don't like manipulative woman like her.
The story is great, the chemistry is great, the first and second couple are cute and compatible. This is the kind of drama that I'll watch when I need something funny, fluffy and heartwarming. My favorite part is Xin Yun and Xia Ke at the ferris wheel ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡
Their acting are so natural. I personally love the chemistry between the first couple, but I also love Zhai Zi Lu, his confident is so hilarious.
The opening song is sung by the male lead a.k.a Xing Zhao Lin and the ending song is sung by Bai Lu, the female lead herself. Both songs are cheerful and easy listening, very suitable for the drama. Also, the back sound during the episodes really fit with the scene.

I did, however, had a few problems with this drama, which is why I would only recommend this when you're not going to take this seriously or expect more for a romcom. The problems mostly lie on the themes featured, like how weird it targets on marriage so keenly and how pushy the male leads are at times (I personally only liked Xia Ge. I have my qualms with Chu Nan and He Yu). The female leads are charming and badass--I liked all of them, which is why I'm a bit dismayed with how they're sometimes treated by the other people and the men in their lives.
With all of that said, watch this with a grain of salt and some patience. I enjoyed it for what it promised, ignored the other problematic elements and overall had a great time.

I mean when they kissed, they really seemed like a real couple. And the FL doesn’t cry on a little thing.

The thing I didn’t like... Hmm... That’s pretty hard....
I don’t think that I even have a dislike point!
But the relationship between the sister and his boyfriend was pretty complicated. But I mean, this is a drama. I skipped some of their scenes.
Definitely gonna rewatch this after some time!

Why this didn't impress me-controlling, but secretly caring ml + passive fl
-ml just let misunderstanding happen, it was weird
-A lot of meddling supporting leads to break them a part
-very, very annoying
Hard to explain, but in the end, I didn't hate it
-they were cute
-ml had a cute half smile
-I like Bai Lu in general (the wig was weird, but it is easy to ignore) (Bai Lu had more chemistry with Luo Yun Xi)

In addition, a fan of Xing Zhao Lin should not miss this drama because his character is here is very strong. The second actor of this drama is no less interesting. In fact, from the start I was actually more interested in the second cast. :D

I was on a thriller drama marathon for a full week and i eventually got tired of watching dramas for awhile. While i was on youtube watching random short videos, i came upon the trailer for this drama and i knew it i had to give this a try.
For starters, this drama was really really easy to watch, not much dramatic “dramas” and the focus was mainly on the couple. I love it so much because the plot wasn’t too draggy and i get to binge-watch my favourite couple scenes w/o skipping the drama too much.
The actors. Damn, xing zhao lin is hot af. I read that he was a trainee in exo previously and that explains why his visual is top notch because all guys at SM are GODS. I have watched his previous dramas such as eternal love and i swear you guys need to give this guy a chance. His acting skills are improving a lot from dramas to dramas. Bailu, on the other hand, was freaking cute in the drama OH MY GOD. I love her smile and I unconsciously smile whenever i see her smiling at xing zhao lin LOL. She is such a cutie furball!!!!
Okay enough of my review, just go watch the god-damn drama lol.

Takes a bit to get going, but goes great from there
Let me be sentimental for a sec: This was my first Chinese drama, y’all! It’s been over two years and at long last, I’m getting around to reviewing it. Oops.I remember enough though, sp here goes.
Like the headline says, it takes several episodes to really find it’s groove. The first seven-ish feel more like set up, which does feel kind of necessary with the title being what it is and so heartbreak is a must for the beginning. Our leads don’t really get to shine together until later, but when they do it’s pretty great.
I will also admit to being a little blindsided because during the setup of the series, the vibe between Xing Yun and Xia Ke was very different than what it was after. Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly, but there was a definite shift in attitude.
But, I loved the office dynamic, loved the Xing Yun’s work bestie (work bestie’s outfits are literal goals. For me anyway.) There’s the stupid misunderstandings and the typical breakup around ep. 19 or so, but thankfully it doesn’t last too long.
This drama will always be nostalgic for me and I hope to watch it again soon. Maybe when my watchlist is a little smaller. Either way, a good fluffy sort of watch with angst sprinkled in for funzies.
